"This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. The email I received notifying me that my order had shipped did not specify which items had shipped even though the email indicated that some items did NOT ship. I called twice and wrote once and received a call from someone claiming to be just filling in after the big storm in the Northwest. She insisted that all the items had shipped and that I would receive them from the prospective warehouses, even though the email did indicate that an item did not ship. I just needed to know which one and they could not tell me. So now it has not shown up and they will not commit to helping me receive the item or returning my money. I have filed a claim with my credit card company. Woody Hertzog must not be able to sleep at night and is incapable of doing the right thing. What a store to AVOID."
"Avoid this dealer. As others have posted, they misrepresented the availability of the item and after 5 days advised the original not in stock and would offer a similar for a higher price. Guaranteed delivery date but never confirmed. After 3 phone calls 12 days later, finally said item "was not entered correctley" and would not ship until much later. Very poor customer service and business practices. Never offered any concession or even discount on shipping after all the failures. Do not count on this dealer, very poor, and many others with better reliability. And they are not a SECURE site."
"The absolute worst experience I've ever had. Twice they shipped me the same damaged item. I don't mean a like item, I mean the SAME damaged item. All they did was get the damaged one back, repackage it and send it back to me. So I cancelled the order and they said I' be waiting for a credit from the vendor. After many calls asking where the credit was, I cantacted my credit card company. This lit a fire under them and this Woody Hertzog sent me a nasty letter asking why I would do such a thing. He acted like he never knew of any problem I was having with the product. He threatened me with turning a couple fees he felt I owed over to a collection agency. He wanted $25.00 for a non-payment fee and $21.00 for a re-stocking fee. A re-stocking fee for damaged a damaged product. No wonder they keep getting items returned. Stay away from these people. As of 12/2009, these people have now turned it over to a collection agency. How stupid is that? All because Digital Gift Store can't do business properly. They will never get money from me for a re-stocking fee. They are insane."

"Worst online shopping experience ever. Product sent (solar lighting) was not what was ordered, and this they finally acknowledged. After the product was returned to their distributor, it took over 2 months for them to process a return to my credit card, in excess of their own stated time frame. I beleive the credit was made only because I finally requested MC to do a chargeback. When the chargeback posted, this vendor threatened me with collection agency action (even though they had their merchandise returned to them, and they acknowledged I was due a credit back on my card which they failed to process in a timely manner). In trying to resolve the problem before requesting a MC chargeback, I contacted them numerous times, dealing with Heather the Customer Service Manager, Denise the Director of E-commerce sales, and Woody Hertzog, the General Manager. In my opinion, all were non responsive, generally rude, and particularly with Heather, not well versed with her companies own online posted policies. Most of my shopping is online, and this is the only place I would never contact again, and would advise all to stay away from them. "
"I purchased a gps system from this store..Digital Gift Store..They told me it would be shipped within 2-3 business days........I didn't receive it for 2-3 weeks..When it arrived it was used..well worn and would not work..Because of their taking sooooooo long to ship the item I had no time to wait for an exchange and requested a refund..The refund took forever to process and then they deducted $70 from it...My credit card disputed this charge since it was their fault i couldn't exchange....because they were slow in sending it out....and they also advertise that they sell only brand new factory merchandise....factory sealed......And then this piece of junk was shipped out to me....Their fault not mine....I should pay zero for their mistakes....So the company turned me over to a collection agency...for refusing to pay their bogus charges...Bottom line......Do not shop with this company if you are not positive you will be keeping the merchandise....They have horrible refund policies and they have even worse customer service!!! "This is the slowest online service I have ever received!! I placed an order Sept. 13 - it is now Oct. 3 and UPS doesn't even have a package to track yet. I have spoken to customer service and emailed. I was assured my package was placed on the "urgent" list. Even though digitalgiftstore.com had the best price on the item I have tried to purchase, it is worth it to pay a few dollars more if I will actually RECEIVE the package."
"my order was put on hold then cancelled because a coupon code I used on their website was mis-used. After calling customer service, the rep (Shelly) was very rude and was baffeled why the customer service MANAGER put my order on hold. I can't believe two days after I placed the order, it was cancelled because their website puts out a coupon code for a product then doesn't exclude the use of the coupon on the product it wasn't intended for (even though the general public doesn't know the terms of the coupon, just that it's used for free shipping). They lost $180 over $40 in shipping charges! Their customer service is poor and their checkout software is in serious need of updating! "

"I purchased online a set of 4 brass numerals and letters for the doors of my office suite through Digitalgiftstore.com of Sammamish WA. The order was for 2ea numeral "6" and 1ea of letter "A" and letter "B". I specified in my order that these should all match.
UPS came to my mail room with a package so badly damaged that my man there refused to accept it. I came down personally to find that the package was ripped fully open, as if a dog had half eaten it. Not only that, but the product inside was not as I had specified: the numerals were a different size from the letters. I refused receipt and the damaged package went back with UPS. Now, it's not clear to me who damaged the packaging, whether the product was properly packed or what. One thing is certain, though: None of my people did that to the package.
Digitalgiftstore.com refuses either to process a full refund or ship product even after being thoroughly informed of the matter. The manager, Woody Hertzog, keeps sending me copies of his invoice, completely ignoring my explicit instructions. He seems to be completely unconcerned with the fact that I have received no product at all. There does not seem to be any way I can resolve this issue; my money is lost and I have nothing to show for it. "
"I ordered a product from them on 12/13/05. Was not shippped till 12/20/05. Received 12/26/05 and was damaged.(Not company's fault, right?) Contacted company on 12/27/05 of damage. Stated would not send another until the damaged was recieved back. Received email back from Company 12/30/05 stating can not send back unless RA# is given to me...It is now 01/11/06 and I am still waiting on the RA# so i can send their product back to them. Have emailed back and forth with company and the responses i have recieved have been smart-elicky about the situation. There web-site states that the customer is number one!!! "After comparing many on-line vendors, I chose to order a particular product from this vendor because it offered a good price AND the web site claimed they had more than 400 in stock. I received a prompt email confirmation of my order and was told it would ship in 2 or 3 days.
I was shocked to receive an email the next day saying that my order was cancelled because there were "0 availability on our site." I was even more dismayed to check back a few days later and find that they were again advertising this product, this time with more than 500 in stock!
I will be reporting this company to the proper authorities and warn all other consumers to stay away!"
"OK Prices. Shipping time was unacceptable. It took them five days to ship it. They did not respond to my email. They put the wrong zip code on it which further delayed the arrival. If you don't mind waiting, they will get you the item. If you need it in a hurry, don't rely on them."
