"I always dreamed of a beast for gaming and when I contacted digital storm they helped me to build the best computer for my budget. The customer service was awesome and I now have the beast I dreamed about! "
"I just bought my first PC from these guys and I’ll tell ya what, these guys at Digital Storm were in constant contact with me updating me on every little thing. They answered my emails and calls incredibly fast and were very nice and helpful. I just got my pc and it is f’n badass! I am so happy with my purchase and would highly recommend them to anyone looking into getting a pc and want it build and set up right! 10/10. Never going back to Xbox or ps again. "
"This was my first experience buying a PC from Digital Storm. The available options to choose from can be a little overwhelming if you are inexperienced with PC hardware, but the customer service reps are very knowledgeable and responsive to inquiries concerning which PC and parts to choose from. The build process took longer than expected, due to parts shortages and the pandemic. Despite the delay, Alex always was quick to respond to my questions concerning said delays and offered alternatives to my build if I needed my PC ASAP. I decided to keep my build as is and waited patiently, that patience more than paid off, my PC is fantastic!! The quality of the build is second to none and I expect this PC will last many years to come. "
"Professional data analyst and part-time gamer and burned through my laptop after only 2 years this fall. Wanting for something more capable and more consistent, I spent weeks researching custom PCs and went through everything in detail. Digital Storm offered the best product for the price and it has since met all my expectations and then some. Really well put together, worked smoothly & perfectly from the start and is a beast when it comes to both work and gaming. The aesthetics were less important but are equally as impressive. Couldn't recommend them anymore!"
"Was amazing, great service "
"The wait was definitely worth it, I waited a long time to buy a gaming pc because I wanted it my way and after some looking around I chose Digital Storm and I wasn't disappointed, no issues with customer service, anytime I had a question they had an answer within 24 hours, I definitely recommend them"
"I purchased a Digital Storm PC right when the Nvidia 3080 shortage occurred, and everyone's builds, regardless of the company, were delayed.
Digital Storm's support staff responded to my questions around the delays for my machine quickly, professionally, and compassionately; you could tell they were just as concerned about the delays as I was, even though it was clearly outside their control.
When my machine hit the final stage and was shipped, I received it almost a full week faster than the shipping had suggested. The box it came in fully protected the PC, and the additional custom fitted shipping foam inside the case protected all the components. It arrived in perfect condition.
And I cannot stress enough how GORGEOUS the machine is. Their build quality is top notch, and the all glass case is stunning.
I have already recommended them to friends and family, and would definitely buy from them again."
"My son upgraded his PC gaming experience with Digital Storm and is super happy! He has increased gaming and graphics speeds with powerful processor that can manage multiple open windows. His PC came in a great package with optional lighting for a cool look. Bottom line is that we’re really happy with the purchase and our son will enjoy it for years. "
"I have always had an absolutely amazing experience with Digital Storm, both of my PCs from them work great and have never had any issues, the customer service is always very helpful, all around a top quality company."
"Recently I brought my first gaming PC, the Digital Storm Lumos, and I am enjoying it thus far. The PC is everything that I wanted. There’s a ton of storage space so that I can download everything that I need(streaming software, games, etc), since I am a steamer. For me, the graphics on my games looks awesome as well, though I may update my graphics card soon. Oh, and Digital Storm did an awesome job of making sure that my PC stayed cool while running; I haven’t had to worry about my PC blowing out a lot of hot air. I would recommend Digital Storm for sure."
"It is very powerful, great product, good costumer service. I Highly recommend this seller. "
"I’ve been asked to post a review of my experience with Digital Storm.
First, I did not need a new PC. I had an HP Omen with an i7 and 16GB of RAM and a 4GB video card. The build was sufficient to manage my daily work tasks. My workload typically includes using Sketchup with some processor and graphics intensive plugins, and Excel.
When I made the decision to purchase new, I gave myself a $3000 budget, and was determined to buy custom, and to buy American. I found several companies that offered American made custom builds but kept coming back to Digital Storm. I liked their online build configurator, and it was easy to narrow my choices down.
After wrangling through the options, I settled on a Slade Engineer Workstation; an i9-10900K processor (not overclocked); 64GB of system memory; an internal hard drive hot swap bay and an internal optical drive (turns out that the configurator allowed the selection of both, but the case only allows for one internal slot – they called and explained that, so I chose to keep the hard drive sway bay internal and opted for an external optical drive); a 1TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus SDD; a GeForce RTX 3060 It 8GB graphics card; and a Creative Sound BlasterX AE-5 Plus sound card. All of that brought me in at just under $2800. The CPU cooling fan is an H2O Stage 2 Dual Fan Digital Storm Vortex Liquid CPU Cooler with no maintenance.
I cannot really say there were any moments of buyer’s remorse, but there were a couple of little things. The Slade Engineer chassis has a glass case, and the photos represented a metal case. I do not like having to clean fingerprints off the glass. The motherboard is not equipped with Bluetooth. My fault, I should have read the specs more thoroughly. A $15 Bluetooth dongle resolved that issue. Also, I really did not need the Sound BlasterX. I love to listen to my music, but the onboard sound is totally sufficient to handle anything I’m into.
From the date of order to delivery was 40 calendar days, or 28 business days. They have 7 production stages and notified me via email as the build entered each stage. My order remained in stage 1 (Pending Production) for 23 calendar days but once it entered stage 2, it went quickly from there. Shipping was via FedEx and it took only a day for my new build to arrive.
Unpacking was easy and my immediate impression was of how solid it felt. I opened the case, and the interior was packed with a molded foam that held the components in place during shipping. Probably a bit of overkill, but it reveals the level of care Digital Storm takes with their product. I had it setup and all plugged in after a few minutes and fired it up. I was impressed with the startup speed and the first thing I noticed that there was not an ounce of bloatware or crapware installed. It was a clean Windows 10 Pro install. Everything worked out of the box and I began the task of installing my software. I plugged my 8TB hard drive into the hot swap bay and it fired right up. All of my installers and personal files were there, so it was a breeze to get everything installed and configured to my preferences.
My first test was Sketchup. With my previous configuration, Sketchup would take 30-45 seconds to start (I have several plugins that add to that start time), and a large 100MB file would take about a minute to load. With this Digital Storm i9 build, Sketchup starts in under 15 seconds and that 100MB file took all of 10 seconds to load.
In rating this PC, on a 1 to 5 scale, I would categorize my experience as follows:
• Purchasing is a solid 5. Easy process and Digital Storm was great about keeping me informed.
• Production and delivery is also a 5. It spent a little more time in stage 1 than I would have expected, but in the end my build was delivered within the timeframe Digital Storm promised.
• Quality is a 5. I like the look and feel of the chassis (despite the glass panel), and the ease of replacing filters in unmatched. You can definitely hear the fans, but the fan noise is not at all intrusive). Access to the internals is straightforward and the cables are neatly secured and arranged to allow maximum air flow. Plus, it all just looks cool!
• Reliability. I’ve used the computer for 11 days now and have had zero problems. I don’t anticipate any and would also give this a rating of 5.
• Loyalty. Would I recommend or buy from Digital Storm? That is an absolute 5. I make recommendations to my company for computer hardware purchases and Digital Storm will be my first and only recommendation going forward. I can’t speak to how this machine would act in a gaming environment because I don’t do any gaming, but for business, CAD work and general computing, this is a very solid build. When I need a new computer, my first stop will be www.digitalstorm.com.

"Just received a Digital Storm tower as a (requested) gift and I’ve been extremely happy with it. It plays all of my games at the highest graphics quality and the internal lights make a pretty pattern on my wall."
"Digital storm is the best experience I went thur and the update was on point and the customer service was great."
"All around great experience extremely impressed with digital storm and the service provided"
"So I ordered a custom computer at the start of December (December 4th). I really liked their website, options available. I paid in full ($2300) It is now February and I have not received my computer. They provide a helpful (in theory) update of the stages it's in. Stage 3 (out of 7 as of today). The only improvement from Stage 1 (money received) was after I called them and asked what they delay was - which they told me they were waiting for a power supply. There was no indication or alternatives were presented and then they claimed that had come in this week and they would begin assembling. Good I thought at least it's moving forward. That was three weeks ago and it is still at Stage 3. So I called them this weekend again. Told me it would likely be assembled this week. I asked why it wasn't assembled over the last three weeks when the parts were in, and they had no answer. This had twice more before I cancelled my order. Overall time wasted 10 weeks.
I get it, pandemics, holidays etc. But they are well over their maximum timeline for all 9 stages and it's still at stage 3. If it doesn't move this week I am going to cancel. They may provide a good product (since I haven't received it I can't comment on it) but horrible customer service and EXTREME delays which they seem to have no excuse for and don't try to work them out.
Would not recommend.
Also it looks like others have had the same problem. Wish I had read the Yelp reviews prior to ordering. I will update this... If no movement by Friday I will call and cancel my order.
Company can't seem to meet their requests on custom orders in a timely fashion and their customer service is awful. I wasted ten weeks with this useless company, I am writing this to make sure no one else does."
A rep from Digital Storm, digitalstormonli, has responded:
“We're sorry to have let you down, it's been a challenging time for our entire industry. Supply issues have been erratic which prevents us from providing better estimations to customers. Things have improved over the last few weeks, we've been shipping hundreds of orders daily. Review sites like Yelp don't provide an accurate outlook on our total operation, there are many happy customers that are enjoying their new PC as well. If you are ever interested in placing a new order, please let us know we'll be happy to make you a prioirty.”
