"I will only give them one star and that is just due to low pricing. I ordered a Canon 7D Mark II over a month ago from digitaloutlets.net and still have yet to receive it. Once I placed my order they sent an email stating I had to call to confirm my order before they would process it. That ended up being a very pushy sales call with an extremely rude customer service agent. My confirmation email said shipping would take 10-14 business days. I have called multiple times and have either gotten a message stating they are closed, or have been on hold waiting for a customer service rep for over 15 minutes. The only response to the multiple emails I have sent was for me to call them, which I immediately did, and I got the voicemail stating they were closed yet again. I will certainly be reporting them to the BBB!"

"Short version: digitaloutlets.net are dishonest and there is a real risk you will lose your money!

Full story:
Ordered a Canon 7D mk II body, the price for the body was among the lowest I could find. Payed by credit card, delivery 5-7 business days.
Immidiately there was a "confirmation" email with a note "Your order har been sent". I emailed them back and asked for a tracking number, never got a reply.

Two days later I called them, and they said that my order was on hold because I entered the wrong CVV code (lie #1). I gave the code again over the phone. They said that there is no battery or charger with the camera and they tried selling me batteries that were 5-10x over market price. I said no thanks.

A week later, still no tracking number so I called them. "There will be an email with your tracking number 48h before delivery" (lie #2). And "shipment is estimated for next Monday".

Waited, no emails over the weekend, no shipment on Monday. Called them again. "The camera was delivered on Sunday by UPS" (lie #3). There was nothing delivered on Sunday. Also, UPS does not deliver on Sundays. I asked for a tracking number, they gave me one that did not work (lie #4). Called them back, they corrected the number, but it was still fake (lie #5).

Then they went silent, their store was closed for a couple of days. Emailed them on thursday (day 10) and told them I will cancel my order and demand a full refund. There was instantly an email response asking me to call customer service the next day.

I called them, got another delivery day, now it was Monday the week before (lie #6) and a new fake tracking number (lie #7). I told them on the phone that I cancel my order and want a refund. The guy said "Ok, but we need the camera back"... What a joke!

Eventually, a few weeks later, there was e refund on my credit card, but from what I read on the net, I was lucky!

I WOULD STRONGLY DISCOURAGE ANYBODY BUYING ANYTHING FROM digitaloutlets.net !

"DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS! Ordered a camera in July. After placing the order, they enlisted the old "bait-n-switch" to upsell me as the camera I ordered was not a US model. Told me it would be shipped in two weeks. Never came. Told me that I could not cancel. Finally got a shipping confirmation in SEPTEMBER. Still never came. Finally agreed to cancel order, but no refund has been given and it is OCTOBER. Had to file a dispute with credit card company. SCAM COMPANY! I would bet money that at least 75% of these positive reviews are from them!"

"Stay away from this seller. I ordered a camera body and a lens (at a very good price I will say), but I only received the lens. I've emailed their customer service multiple times and have never received a response. I finally called their CS department and after waiting on hold for 15 minutes I was promised that my replacement camera shipped on 9/16. I called again on 9/24 and was told that the shipment was scheduled for today, but never came. I was also promised a tracking number which I never received. I'm pretty confident that they are not planning on sending me a the camera body and have been lying to me and avoiding me in the hopes that I will give up."

"BUYER BEWARE! I ordered a camera body, and two lenses. I think I've been duped. I received the camera body (used) and only 1 lens. The camera came in a different from factory box, missing all of the warranty information, as well as the documentation. Since other buyers have reported being "hassled" by them, and not receiving their products, my first call is going to be to their merchant, as well as VISA. I am soooooo bummed out..."

"CUSTOMER SERVICE REVIEW. I decided to look more into the order I placed with Digital Outlets, and turns out the imported model is not what I wanted to go with. I then, called them back and asked them kindly to cancel my order so I can make the right choice on which camera to purchase. The customer service representative was extremely understanding and cancelled the order without the cancelation fee... I truly do appreciate that. "
