"I wish I would of read the reviews first. I am having a similar problem. I placed my order on 1-8-10 and still do not have it or a replacement.
I called discount pets to tell them I never received my $175 order. Someone by the name of AJ said I would have to get a claim number from the USPS and fax that claim number to them. I did that immediately. At first, I thought great, I received an email from someone named David stating that the shipment would be sent out. I even asked them to deliver the order to another address so that I would not have the same problem in case someone had taken it. I was very concerned because my order had needles and injectables with it. I hoped some kids did not get hold of it. I had even told others about what I thought at the time was great customer service. HA HA, I am still going round with them today, 2 months later. They charged my credit card and I still have no meds. Nobody was responding to my calls or emails until I got someone today to answer. But, that was not good. I got AJ again who now tells me I have to get a claim number on paper from USPS and fax to them. It was like starting at the beginning even though, I had an email from "David" they would reship. I asked for the Owner or supervisor and they gave me a Mike. Now I am totally confused and sent him all 8 emails and that does not count the numerous phone calls and fax. This has become a full time job with these guys. I think they just hope you get tired or forget.
If anyone out there has any suggestions, please let me know??? "
"After 15 days and no order received, I tried to check on-line and discovered their Web site is off-line. I called the 800 number and no one answered. I suspect they are out of business and my $70 is gone forever. Never again. If I have to pay more, I guess I'll have to buy from the Big Guys."
"I too am checking into this company i called twice said they were waiting for Prescription from vet even though i faxed to them.then they said ok i trust you it is being sent out today. Then i waited a week and now i have e mailed twice and left 4 messages no one has called back as of yet. I am now in the process of cancelling order with credit card company, very unprofessional. Now when you go on line it asks for sign in info don't do it. Looks like the site has been shut down not sure??? Contacting the attorney general to advise of scam."
"This is a scam, they took my credit card info. I know of at least 2 wrong charges on my credit card since then. I've gotten nothing but an email that says that they tried 3 times to contact my vet. My vet has heard nothing from them. I've looked at other reviews and the same thing happens. They are tied into an organization called Pure Living, LLc. This all a scam. Do not use, Do not buy. Scam"

"I placed an on line order for front line. I didn't print the confirmation but have never had a problem with any on-line ordering so was sure I would receive an email confirmation. I didn't. After a couple of weeks went by I just assumed that either they never received my order or that since I didn't have a vet script that the order went no where... until I noticed that my bank account had been debited the $148. I called & left a voice mail...no return call. A week later I called again & reached a person who said he would look into it & get back to me by the end of the day.. he didn't. I called again & reached someone who said that they needed my debit card # to give me a credit. When I asked why they didn't call me to get the debit card # the guy said he didn't know. Anyway here I am a month later & the credit appeared today. PLEASE BE ALERT WITH THIS COMPANY.. judging from my experience & now that I've read others, I see they are SLICK!!"

"I have been very happy with this company and have used them a few times now. It is much cheaper to purchase my dog's medication online rather than directly from the vet. The medication requires a prescription and I have never had problems getting the meds I need when I give them my vet's name and contact information."
"My recent order from Discount Pet Drugs was not a very good experience.
Although the package came in a timely manner, it had no packing material and one of the pill bottles broke open during shipping. Funny, I didn't request pills either, they were supposed to be soft chews?! The other part of the order was Glyco Flex, which was shipped correctly, but the product is old, hard and dried out.
Don't buy from this company, pay a few extra bucks and get it from Amazon."
"I have shopped at this store for 4 years. I have bought many supplies and medications for my pets including heartgard, frontline, and rimadyl. Most of my orders are shipped promptly. The only problem is when there is a prescription that my vet. does not want to release. Then there has been a delay. The phone customer service is too busy. Best thing is to email them. They respond quickly. They also supply top quality medications. No generics from out of country. Overall they are a reliable company, but you have to get them the prescription. One I ordered on friday and got the in the mail on monday with no charge shipping."
"NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! You can't get through to a human. They DON'T answer the phone or return calls and they DON'T answer emails. I placed my order on the 14th and JUST got it today the 26th. My dog has been out of her meds for a week due to their delay in shipping. ALSO, the charged me TAX to the tune of $21.44. The company is in NY I am in CA. Unfortunately I should have researched this so-called "company" before I made my purchase. Attempting to call this company is useless. Even if the order is shipped I would be very hesitant about giving this medication to my pet."
