I spent some time placing an order for de-wormer pills in mid-December --- here it is a month later and still no order confirmation, no attempt to contact my vet. Voicemail and email boxes are full. Just called my credit card company and fortunately no charge was filed yet. Their website is still up and apparently they are able to still spam me w/ promotional emails (I just unsubscribed), but even if they are still technically in business their total lack of customer service makes them a non-viable option. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME/EFFORT, no matter how tempting the prices appear."

Who knows if they are shipping anything and when? The tracking number provided is not found when I search for it: "We do not currently have any tracking information for this shipment yet, please try back at a later time." And even if I ever did receive the product, I have no faith that it would be safe for my pets. And the issue of them sending out prescription meds without prescriptions verified is likely something the FDA would like to hear about. The only reason I tried them was because my vet was out of the medication. I will NEVER make this mistake again."

I HAVE ATTEMPTED TO CANCEL MY ORDER MANY TIMES VIA E-MAIL AND PHONE AND RECEIVED NO RESPONSE. I placed my order initially on 1/2/10, a Saturday which accd. to their website, they are open. Two hours after placing my order, I called and left a message indicating I had to remove one item from my order and to please call me and confirm item was removed. They did - Monday, 1/4/10, I received a message from 1-***-***-**** (not sure what location this is, will have to reverse look up) indicating that they "removed the item and will ship my order as soon as they get a hold of my veterinarian". This was an immediate red flag...and also the last and only human contact with this company. I knew there would never be a problem getting a hold of my veterinarian. My veterinarian office consists of one vet, very small office, and he completes all of my requests almost immediately - they were waiting for a fax from this company. Nothing came to their office -that evening, I indicated to the vet that I wanted a call when a request was/if received as I did not want the script written. They called me each day, last call 38 minutes ago, indicating no request from this company. It is now 1/7/10 and still my vet has had NO CONTACT with this company.
My last e-mail to them, 1/6/10, attempting to cancel my order yet again - was followed two hours later by an e-mail stating my order had shipped! My credit card company indicates they charged my card for the order 1/5/10. Ironically (sarcasm), the morning after I had left two voicemails indicating "I wanted to be contacted immediately regarding this order as I was questioning the legitimacy of their company".
THEY ARE SHIPPING ME TWO BOTTLES OF 180 count PROIN 50mg WITH NO PRESCRIPTION! THIS MED REQUIRES A PRESCRIPTION. For those of you questioning whether or not this is legal - IT IS DEFINITELY NOT. That same day I wrote to Tony that there was no notice on the website that a prescription was needed for this, and the whole reason I was ordering online was because we can't get George (our cat) into a carrier to take him to our vets. So please cancel my order.
I received no reply. On 6/1/2009 I faxed a copy of my email to 1-***-***-****, asking them to cancel my order and issue a refund. No reply ever came.
The next day I called my Credit Card company and told them the story of Tony and Discount Pet Drugs' unresponsiveness to my repeated attempts to cancel my order
Luckily for me my CC company immediately issued a charge back. I say Luckily because to this day, 7 months later, I have yet to receive any response, not even to the final email I sent to "Tony" that my credit card charge had been stopped in spite of their silence and no customer service.
Frankly anyone who goes ahead and orders from Discount Pet Drugs .com (which has a great-looking cute website) after reading these pages of bad reviews, pretty much should not be surprised at what happens to them. This aught to be enough warning for anyone who can process information.
