"Fast service, good product"
"On the 17th I placed and order and it shipped. Two days later using regular ground shipping I received my order. The turn around time was great but the company sent me the wrong part. I was led to believe that the part being sent by Drivewire was in fact and entire remanufactured Fuel Pump assembly for my discovery. Instead what was sent was a fuel pump. At $150 for a remanufactured fuel pump, this didn't seem like such a great deal. On top of that, it was the wrong pump. I sat for over 20 minutes on drivewires customer service line when I finally reached a very nice customer service rep. He agreed with me that it should be an entire assembly based upon the description and price on the website.
They requested pictures of the new and old pump and assured me they would resolve this. An hour later someone from the pump manufacturer called and said I should just exchange the pump through them. 3 days afterwards, I have not heard back from Drivewire about the pictures I sent and I am still waiting on confirmation from "FIC fuel pump" that a new correct pump is on the way. The descriptions on the website are misleading as well as their pricing out of line with other fuel pumps I have seen on the net.
At this point I just want to get my truck back together and on the road."
"I was sent the wrong part, I ordered a part to fit an E36 BMW and got the part for an E30. The order was correct, the part was not.
Im filling out the information to be able to get it returned. The box was opened because it showed that it was the right part until the shop tried to install it. It would not fit. Now the return instructions say I cant return it if its opened... This is unacceptable under certain circumstances since we needed to put the part into place before we could see it was the wrong one. "
