"Frustrating experience. Website states ships next day. I counted on that and when I still hadn't received my part a week later, I tracked my order and discovered it hadn't even been sent out yet! I called and a different shipping address from that on my account was the problem..I understand that, but it would have been nice to be notified! Drivewire claims they tried, but gave two lame excuses. And their is no excuse because if all else fails, they could have notified me by email. They sure managed to get the money out of my account promptly, but sat on my part until I finally called them. But that turns out not to be my biggest problem. I had ordered a crank position sensor and I had spent extra money to get a high quality one. When the part arrived, the sensor itself had the part numbers, brand name, everything scratched off of both sides of the sensor. I immediatelly called Drivewire and was told that vendors sometimes do that to prevent "price shopping". It makes no sense...I had already purchased the sensor! I feel like I have been told a bunch of BS. There is no way to verify this is even the sensor I purchased, much less if it is the correct one for my car. For all I know, it could be a autozone part- There is no way to tell. There is nothing left on the sensor to cross reference. The box it came in was not sealed or even in new condition, so that tell me nothing. Installing the sensor has yielded no improvements in the performance of my car- today it actually ran worse than it did before i put the new sensor on it! Hiow can I check this sensor off my trroubleshooting list when I don;t even know if it is the right one? I feel like I need to buy another one to verify that it is still not the problem. I don't trust the one I bought from Drivewire and that is not the experience anyone wants to have with a retailer. "

"Feb 22 purchased a MAF with an added $80 core charge.
Received the part put the old MAF in the same box and sent it out via UPS.
March 4 Drivewire received the core I sent them I inq about when I would get my $80 core charge back via email
March 5 was told via email within 30 calendar days from March 4 I would get my credit back
March 11 I asked for status via email
March 11 called and was told that the CSR was out on vacation so they are short staff but I would get my refund in 2 weeks 30 days was a worst case type situation
March 11 Drivewire emails states they are awaiting the refund by end of month
March 30 I asked for status via email
March 30 Drivewire states by email they are waiting for manufacture
April 2 I asked for status via email
April 6 I asked for status via email
April 6 because of lack of contact with Drivewire i have filed a BBB in the LA area against Drivewire.

I have been a customer of Drivewire since Sept 2004 unfortunately this means nothing with Drivewire.

*Update April 7*
After advising Drivewire and cc Bryan Parks of Drivewire that I have filed a complaint againt them with the BBB of LA Mr Parks contacted the 3rd party company and credited by card back $80.
It is unfortunate that a customer has to go to these lengths that can not simply be handled at the CS level.
As we know prices for automotive parts are comparable across the board. What separates one store from the next is service. If exceeding customer expectations is not a part of ones business then they will not be able to differentiate themselves from the next.
We can only hope that Drivewire takes measures necessary to improve the service that they offer their current and potential customers.

"it was very easy and convenient from finding the part to placing the order.
however i am still waiting to recieve it and waiting for it to be charged, it said 1 available, but a week later when i called they said they were waiting on the part to come in that was the reason for the delay. so a littl inconvenient on waiting time luckily my car is still running without this part or it would have been very irritating.. but other than that it was a good experience,,hopefully it gets here soon.

"drivewire.com is a waste of time.
Their site says a part is in stock & ships the next business day.
I has now been over a week and I still don't have my parts.
I called to see what the hold up was and the customer service rep. was very rude & uncooperative.
I am now 2 days late on a very important project and am falling further & further behind as I wait for this part to arrive.
drivewire.com obviously doesn't care about the local car guy.
They only care about getting their money.
I know have to explain to my customer why I don't have their car repaired.
This is unacceptable !!!
drivewire.com is costing me valuable time and money, and they refuse to try and resolve this issue.
I tried calling to speak with someone else and the company directory says invalid choice.
I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH drivewire.com EVER AGAIN !!!!
