"DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY !! My first order went without a hitch. Great!
My second order was cancelled repeatedly by drugstore.com because "credit card company will not verify billing information." I did what any rational customer would do, I called them and went through the information and was assured the order would go through. (And, by the way, maybe they'll contact you about canceling your order and maybe they won't.) After the 3d time of being cancelled, I called my credit card company and they called drugstore.com. There was a conference call between all of us and I was assured everything was verified and cleared up. I received my order verification from them and a message from my credit card company that the charge had been made. After one week, I got on drugstore.com's website and sure enough, the order was cancelled for the same reason. A call to them assured me once again that the order would go through. About 2 hours later I received an email from them that the order was cancelled because my information cannot be verified. That was the last straw. Called them and ended the relationship. I was told that if I could wait a couple of weeks, maybe they could get enough information on me and I could use another card I had on my account. I told them to delete everything they know about me and I would be reporting them to the BBB. Called the credit card company to make sure any charges from them do not go through. I will add that I tried to use my PayPal account on this order twice and I was told PayPal would not go through. I've used PayPal for many years.
Bottom line, this company has no communication within it or with the customers....and evidently not with the customers' payers."
"I've used Drugstore.com for many years. It might be nice if they tracked their long-term customers for special benefits or considerations; but on the other hand, it would be great if they just stopped this ridiculous practice:
I placed an order for $100 worth of merchandise. One item was out of stock (a sale item). The site indicated it would be available in 2-3 weeks; fine! At checkout I find a fee of $1.99 added because the item was backordered. no specific information. Later via customer service I read that the fee is to cover the additional (late) shipment.
Should I pay more to have them ship their own item 2 weeks late? Not happy."
"Ordered euclalyptus oil using PayPal received email from drugstore.com saying ups reported shipment was damaged. I had to contact them with credit card # to get a replacement. I did not want to give out a credit card #. So they refunded me by PayPal I reordered oil again. Again received notice it was shipped. Next day another email saying ups had damaged it. Again drugstore.com wanted a credit card #. Sounds to me like Drugstore.com better do a better job of packaging. This time told them to forget it using up too manyi cell phone minutes. I also thought I'd already paid for merchandise shouldn't have to pay again."
"Worst online experience ever. They lied about current stock and continued to lie for 5 more days before rudely cancelling my order…and after charging my credit card. Now I have the joy of disputing the charge and following up every day to demand a refund. Customer service is ineffectual and pathetic. Stay far away."

"I placed an order for a bunch of toothpastes with them. They were offering a discount on it. Initially I found it a bit of an exercise to get the items in my cart at the advertised discounted rate. After I placed my order the status was set to backordered. I found it understandable as the item was on discount, however 9 days after placing my order they automatically CANCEL IT! I found this outrageous and really bad conduct.
It is just toothpaste. How hard is it to get a supply of toothpaste. I believe these guys didn't want to sell the item at the discounted price in the first place. They just wanted to lure you in to buying something by false advertising. This is my first and last interaction with them. "

In the end, everything went as expected. My order was shipped within a few days, and arrived within a week. I am a very satisfied customer."
"BUYER BEWARE - I recently ordered 10 items all of which are listed as in stock and as i had a business trip to make wanted to have all the items delivered within 10 business days i opted to have it 2 day shipped and paid an extra $9.99
I then recieved an email 5 days later (Friday) stating that 2 of the 10 items are shipped and the 8 remaining are still on order. After numerous emails with customer service they claimed the items are on backorder (8 items) and could take up to 2 weeks. With no compensation or options other than to cancel my order. I of course will not have my items in time for my business trip. Customer Service was not helpful or willing to assist in anyway and constantly ignored my questions on delivery and shipping expenses.
If you are looking to buy from this website - i suggest looking elsewhere!"

"Buyer Beware DrugStore.com is doing strange things these days. Recently placed an order for around $50 which included a great deal on some razors. It was not worth it and I will never shop their again. Spent several hours trying to get my cart correct and checkout. HOURS!!!
They kept changing the quantity of items in my cart. I would load up my cart click "view cart" and atleast one item would be the wrong quantity. I would adjust the quantity but nothing would change. I would delete the item and it would change the quantity to a different amount that I did not want. I then kept decided to delete everything and start over.
This time I checked every item as I added it and by the time I put the third item in my cart it they had changed the quantity of the first item.
After several times of emptying my cart and starting over I finally got everything to show correctly and printed a copy of my cart. I proceeded to check out and once I got to the confirmation page I noticed they changed the price of the razors on me. I said enough I'm calling them.
I spent about an hour on the phone but eventually the girl got everything right, processed the order, and I got a confirmation email 15 minutes later.
Now 6 days after placing the order they cancelled the razors. Not the whole order just the part that was a good deal.
Been a customer for 6 years and no longer!!! I'm Done!!!"

I accidentally put the wrong address for my online shipping order where my package arrived in a short amount of time. So I called about it and they were so understanding and no questions asked, shipped the package free again to the correct address. I'm definitely going to continue buying from this site."
"Buyers beware! I ordered several method laundry products from Drugstore.com. 10 days later I checked the shipment tracking only to discover it was too damaged to be shipped. I called their customer service and was given the option of a refund or "express" shipping of a new order of the same products. I opted for them to reship my order. It is now 13 days later and my order has been sitting in Chino California for 12 days with an estimated delivery date in another week.....I called drugstore.com to find whyI was promised 3 day shipping 13 days ago. He promised to call me back after he called the shipping company. Still no call back. Called again the next day and got placed on hold for 15 minutes before I hung up.
In the meantime, I had to purchase the same items from Amazon.com, which arrived yesterday.... bye bye drugstore.com..I will never order from you again!"
