"I tried to purchase vitamin D drops from drugstore.com because I was having a difficult time finding them at my local stores. Before I placed my order, I noticed that the one I selected was out of stock so I selected a similar item that was listed "in stock". There was free shipping for orders over $25 so I bought two bottles. After a week I checked my order status to find that my items were not in stock. When I called to get an estimated ship date I was told two more weeks. I canceled my order - and wished I had checked supplier ratings prior to placing it."

"Drugstore.com rubbed me the wrong way when I ordered 3 items that turned out to not be available. This would be fine, but there was no warning or notice that these items weren't available until I already checked out and paid for my order. I received an e-mail afterwards explaining that my order would be split into two and shipped seperately, and billed seperately. Annoying, but I could have dealt with the inconvenience. I would have preferred to have notice so I could have chosen other products.

However, I can not deal with the fact that in BOTH orders my products leaked/exploded. In the first order a body spray leaked about 1/3 out onto other items, some of which were ruined due to cardboard packaging. In the second box, a hair conditioner leaked all over the other two items.

The service they offer just isn't worth it. I thought I was saving a little money, but in the long run I'm going to be spending more just due to product leaking everywhere. I'll stick to my local stores from now on, that's for sure.

"Stay far away from this merchant!!! I recently placed my first order with them and ordered products that were listed as buy 2 get 1 free. So, I ordered 4 products with the expectation of getting 2 free... I received my package and one of the "free" items was missing. I called customer service and was told that under this promotion you can not receive more than 1 free item, no matter how many items you order. When I said, "so I should have done 2 separate orders" the rep rudely said "you could have done that HONEY!" Now I'm HONEY??? Then when I told her Drugstore.com should be more strait forward with their policies, she hung up in my face!!! Then I went back to the site, thinking I missed something and perhaps it was clearer than I thought. IT WAS NOT! Needless to say, I won't order from them again!

"These guys are extremely incompetent and rude. Customer service treated me like a second class citizen. Canceled my order after they decided that they didn't want to honour the coupon code that THEY THEMSELVES ISSUED, and treated me like a thief for wanting to use it in the first place. Don't ever buy from this company."

"Careful with promotions- they're sneaky!! I thought I was ordering a BOGO item as it was clearly stated in my cart. When I received my order there was only one of the item. I called customer service, they said I failed to go into another screen and check a box saying I wanted the second item and there was nothing they could do now. I said I only purchased the item because of the BOGO so if they will not send a second one, I would like to return the one I received. They said they'd send me the free item as a ONE TIME courtesy, but only if I gave them a credit card number- I said no way- there should be no questions asked! I will NEVER use them again!"

"I recently purchased some orders from Drugstore with the coupon code I got from them. However, they cancelled out all of my orders without any reason at all. I called customer service - they had no idea. I escalated to the higher and they said they cannot "meet your shopping expectations". That's ridiculous!!!

I will NEVER NEVER NEVER shop here again.

"DO NOT BUY any Multiple, PERSONAL items from Drugstore.com. There is a good chance you will not receive all of them! Someone, maybe in shipping or packaging, is stealing your items by taking them instead of putting them in the box. They count on you not wanting to call and personally discuss the "sensitive", missing items. Who knows, Drugstore.com may be doing it. When you contact them, they tell you your package was shipped complete."

"I ordered an Oral-B Professinal Care Smartseries 4000 toothbrush because they had a deal advertising that it is only $40. So I ordered along with a Replacement brush head which cost $20. Few days later, they ship the replacement brush head and said that the Toothbrush is not yet shipped. The day i got the brush head, they cancelled the toothbrush. I called them and the guy said that they should have them in stock soon and that he could give me the same deal. I called again week after and they said that they can not honor the deal anymore. So if they had an item in backorder, why did they ship the other without asking the customer of what to do first? Now im stuck with this brush head. Never shopping on this site again. I recommend others not to as well. Do not be tempted with there "deals" or else it will just cause headaches."

"I had been a long time customer with drugstore.com but my last two experiences were TERRIBLE. The previous shipment I received had many of the items crushed and damaged. After I complained they issued partial credit. My most recent order was a fiasco. They delivered it to the wrong address and going into a 3-day holiday weekend, the best they could do was offer to send another shipment out AFTER the holiday which would take an additional 2 days to receive. This is after they blatantly lied and first said that they tried to deliver to me but that no one was home so trying to put the blame on me instead of taking accountability. Essentilly what was supposed to be delivered in 2 days would end up taking almost a week from my purchase date. I ended up cancelling my order when their supervisors proved to be completely incompetent and devoid of any customer service skills. Their only solution to me was that I should have paid for express delivery which just made me more angry. The website is also a little misleading by saying your order qualifies for 2 day shipping when you actually have to pay for some program first to get this. Such an awful experience I refuse to shop fom them again especially with so many online retailers out there. Have discovered Vitacost.com and so far they've been great with very competitive prices too. "

"I was shopping around and found drugstore to be far better priced than amazon for the items i was buying. This was my first order and i received my items in 1 business day the packing was fine and nothing was broken (ontrac is an excellent west coast delivery service), i'm very happy overall with the experience and prices i will be back. I wish i found them sooner. Perhaps they have stepped up their game as of late or i may have had a lucky order compared to all the 1 star feedback? We'll see...."

"Drugstore.com put an item on sale but they took more orders than they could fulfill. Their inventory system is unreliable. Worse yet, they don't make up for it with good customer service. Instead of putting my item on backorder, they simply canceled it even though they were taking backorders on this item without the discount. When I asked them to put my order on backorder, they said they would not be getting any more of this item which was untrue. When I pointed out this fact they said I would be free to buy it when it came back in stock at full price. So be prepared for bait and switch tactics at this merchant."
