"This mechant does not live up to their commitment. After 2 weeks of not receiveing any vitamins or further communications after my order, I called to follow up since this was prenatal and I needed them. They did not have them in stock and my order was "blank" in their system. They cancelled my order and said they didn't charge my card. I then went back to my normal vendor, paid a slightly higher price, waited another week and finally received my vitamins. Now 2 months later they are calling stating they shipped items I did not pay for? Get it together. You didn't have the items in stiock, did not communicate that until I called, and didn't document the resolution. I do not recommend and will not purchase from them again. "

"This is a great site for ordering supplements and other wellness/beauty/health/pet items. The trick to not get stuck waiting for your order to ship due to an out of stock item, is to only order one different item at a time. Since their online inventory list only updates every other day, even if you think you're buying something that is in stock, it may have been depleted by the time they process your order meaning that that one item will hold up the rest of your order. In this case, you can call customer service and have them remove the item that is holding up the order from being shipped and the other items will ship out immediately. I had to do this the first time I ordered from them. I ordered 3 separate items that showed a being in stock the day I ordered them, but 2 days later my order still had not shipped so I called customer service and found out that indeed, there was one item that was holding up the order from being shipped. (It had shown as being in stock when I placed the own in my shopping cart). I canceled that portion of the order and I then watched the site to see when the item I had removed came back in stock and I placed a separate order for that one item.

They're not very consistent about sending out shipping confirmation emails, but you can see whether an item or order has shipped by logging into your account&looking at your account details. The tracking number will be there with a note that the order has shipped.

"We have placed eight orders over the past six weeks and have not had any problems at all. Initial ordering is straight forward and reordering is even easier. Due to very competitive pricing and shipping included, we have been able to order items we would not ordinarily try. We have also referred our clients to DrVita and they have had good results as well. We have also had occasion to call customer service and have found them to be knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. Just one tip---order over the weekend or early on Monday for Monday shipping in order to avoid having your order languish somewhere over the weekend. Overall, we are very pleased."

"this was my first order - placed it on 3/5/13 and received receipt - called today 3/8/13 to see where it was - my surprise the order had not been shipped/plased/or packed. So I called - the person said that since I had chosen the free shipping I would not have received it by then anyway - no kidding!! but at
least if it had shipped it would have been on the way. Not at all the response or answer I had hopped for. Would have paid higher price to have the item to have actually shipped from another vendor.

"They did have a good deal on whey protein shakes, which I bought a few months back.

However, Drvita has been continuously trying to charge my credit card every week or so every since. Luckily my credit card is turning down this unauthorized charges, but I highly recommend not buying anything from them, and if you do, keep an eye on your credit card statements for the rest of eternity.

"Ordered from Dr. Vita on February 11th and I am extremely disappointed with my transaction. I ordered two items from them. The first they told me was cancelled 11 days after I placed my order. This was annoying, but I said OK, please just send my remaining item as soon as possible. After another week (16 days after my order) they told me my other item was canceled. After contacting customer service they told me there was nothing they could do - they would not substitute an equivalent product and would not even honor a couple I used at the time that had since expired due to THEIR error on having items out of stock. Will not do business with again."

"I would not recommend ordering from Drvita.com. 3 weeks after placing an order with them I received a refund confirmation because my order was damaged in transit. Drvita never made any attempt to resend my order. Horrible customer service, wouldn't resend any of my order, told me I could place another order. NOT going to happen! I will order from a more reputable company."

"First time buyer ordered a few basic supplements from Dr. Vita, i.e. calcium, omegas, b-complex, etc. Placed order on Feb 9th and it is Feb 28th. Received ZERO correspondence from the company that my order had shipped. Called in 3 times and was reassured that my order would be sent out shortly after a few days of products arriving from warehouses. Not sure where the ball was dropped, but putting customers off and doing nothing afterwards to communicate regarding or repair the broken situation is not what I call the practice of a reputable company. ORDER CANCELED. NO THANKS, DR. VITA. The site's bad business has left a bitter taste in my mouth and I'll be sure to let all of my healthfully minded contacts (on Facebook) know to pass this company up as well. :("

"Ordered product and received invoice from order. 2 weeks later I heard nothing so I contacted customer service to voice my concern. They didn't answer so I left a message to call me back. Some third party returned my call on behalf of DrVita and said my order was cancelled because the product was discontinued. Poor communication, false advertising, and horrible customer service!"
