My order was delivered in eight days. I had to call about a problem with my order, not entirely Dr. Vita's fault - couple bags of dry product popped in transit and made a bit of a mess of things. Darlene, the CSR I spoke to, was good about fixing it. No problems with the store at all, great prices, but my advice to Dr.Vita would be wrap those bags of flour a little better!

"I thought I had found a company to replace my former vitamin/supplement seller however I am less than impressed with Drvita.com even though their prices are very good. I previously cancelled an order with them because I was told at least 3 times the order was being sent out and never was. I decided to try again and just received an order with an item which stated on their website it was free of preservatives and artificial ingredients, however it contains a carcinogenic preservative. I emailed them about it but received no response, then shortly thereafter received an email stating "We Want to Hear From You!" They also don't list the ingredients of products so I have to search another seller's site to see what it contains. Sometimes it's just worth it to pay a little more to get service (especially after spending $14 for something that is going into the trash). Update to review: I did finally receive a credit for the carcinogenic item after I posted this, so I am giving them a higher rating, however their customer service department is definitely lacking. "

"Never received the order and did not hear from Dr. Vita until I contacted them. Dr. Vita then canceled my order without asking me.

I ordered Omega-3 and Folic Acid. One item was not in stock, but was scheduled to arrive in 5-7 days and I was ok to wait for it. Two weeks later, the order still had not shipped.

I contacted Dr. Vita via their website form, but did not receive a reply. Several days later I received a marketing request to post my experience on this website, but to contact Dr. Vita via a e-mail address (that I had not seen before) if I was not happy with my order. I did so and requested an update on my order and questioned why I have not heard from them (proactively) about the delay. I received a phone call the next business day to "confirm that I had cancelled my order" - which I had not.

The discussion with the customer service person was pleasant and apologetic, but confusing when it came to getting the issue resolved - still no idea when the product would ship if they re-entered the order.

I have taken this as a sign to stay away from Dr. Vita as they do not seem to be organized past the attractive website and good prices."

"Wide selection of products and great prices, but poor communication. No ship notification e-mails, no e-mail to let you know you purchased some 'special order' items, and therefore the shipment of your order will be delayed.

I placed my second order on 2/5 and it has yet to ship. According to the website at time of order, all items were supposedly in stock.
