"Another one of those Ingram Micro databases on the web. Absolutely everything available, if you dont mind paying for it. 50% of their stuff has great pricing and 50% does not. Never had a problem with an order, maybe 15 or so. Watch the wording in the description Ingram sometimes has non standard parts ie...Antec states certain case has 2 fans standard, Ingrams did not. Description said so, my fault. Shipping has been fine for me. They probably drop ship."

"***NEWSFLASH*** What is up with all the negative feedback??? I have had some slow deliveries in the past, but never any major hangups. In fact, my last order with them was FLAWLESS!!! Ordered on 8/20, and received my order in perfect condition on 8/22. I am very pleased with EMS and never having had a problem with them, will continue to do business with them.
In the past, I had no problems with EMS. However, in the past, I was not in a "hurry." I placed my order with them on 4/8 by phone and was told the order would ship 4/9. I have followed up with them daily only to find my order has yet to ship as of 4/12. They continue to tell me the same thing, that my order will ship the next day. I needed this Monitor by Wednesday, 4/15. It doesn't look as though I will get it. Isn't more than a week long enough to wait??? If told it would take a while to ship, I would be more understanding, but I was told it would ship the NEXT day! The prices are great, and their customer service is fast and helpful. Now they just need to work on their shipping department! Overall, I have had good experiences with EMS and will probably continue to do business with them. DON'T EXPECT ANYTHING FAST!"

"I've ordered 2 monitors from EMS Computing on seperate occasions. The price was excellent and the shipping charge for UPS ground was very low. What stands out about this company however is that every time I order from them UPS Ground, I recieve the shipment the next day. Maybe this is just a loop hole in the UPS shipping system but for me it is very convenient. I will definately be ordering from them again."
"After reading reviews here, I had my patience ready when ordering a printer and USB cable. Before ordering, I emailed a question to their service and received a prompt reply. I went ahead and ordered, as their price could not be beat. Shipping was quite cheap too, $9.95 anywhere in the US. I placed my order in the afternoon, and a few hours later was shocked to find the web site had indicated it had shipped, and included a UPS tracking number! 3 days later I have my printer and it works great.
In summary, not only were the prices the lowest on Pricewatch.com, but they were lightning-fast. I can't speak for returns and customer service since I had no problems, but I am happy and would buy from them again.

"Questionable reseller - charged credit card before shipping and then partial-shipped after cancellation of order. The "real time" inventory indicated 50 or more scanneers in stock. I placed order for scanner and USB hub. Received email confirming order. A couple of days later, received email notifying that a credit had been issued to my CC, so I phoned to ask why a credit. I was told that scanner was back ordered so charge was reversed. I cancelled the scanner and USB hub order. I complained that CC was charged before shipping and was told that "I'm writing an email to accounting right now about your complaint". I received an email same day confirming that the whole order was cancelled (scanner and hub). A couple of days later I received notification that my order has shipped. I ignored it 'cuz I was sick of dealing with them. Within a week they phone me and tell me if you don't want the order, refuse the delivery - apparently having realized that they shipped after my cancellation. Besides making the ordering process less than efficient, the worst part is that they charged credit card before shipping."

I made an order on a Wen. and expected it Friday, I called them friday,(cannot reach a human with there phone#) went online with them and was advised it would not ship til the following Tues!! I explained to them I needed the P/S yesterday! not next week! Even though it had not shipped I would still have to pay a "handling charge" for the canceled order?? I then went to my local part supplier and got the part!"
"After intially ordering a product listed as in-stock with 12 units left I did not recieve a confirmation e-mail as stated. I followed up on this as well as the long delay during which my order had not shipped with an e-mail. A reply arrived at noon after two days (1/26/02) and I was told that my order would ship within 24 hours and had not yet due to "yearly warehouse counts, due to the end of the fiscal
year." My online account summary from my bank showed that I was charged the day prior to this (1/25/02). After over 48 hours I checked on their site again and their "OrderTrak" did not show that my order had been shipped and assigned a tracking number. I then called their toll-free customer service line and described my problem. The representative first said my order had shipped and the tracking order wasn't released yet, but then corrected herself. She stated that the delay was due to using a debit card as they require a toll-free number from the issuin bank when the billing and shipping address differ. I told her that I had included this number and was already charged. She then informed me that the item was backordered despite the listing at the time of purchase and blamed my charges on their computer saying it would take 7 days to issue a credit, something that would be irrelevant as it would likely ship within that time. I advised her that I was told my order would ship within 24 hours and she claimed no knowledge of that or any way to confirm it on her end. I then mentioned that I was considering taking this issue up with the BBB and she reaffirmed her previous statement that my order would ship on Wednesday (1/30/02) at the earliest depending on the manufacturer. After filing a complaint with their local BBB and forwarding a copy of my complaint confirmation to thier BBB rep the problem seemed to be resolved. I personally recived a phone call early the next morning stating that my order was shipped out and would arrive shortly as well as an e-mail. When the package arrived however it was merely the speaker box with some tape and a label stuck on it... very poor and completely inacceptable packaging for a sensitive component despite the size. I would urge everyone to avoid them like the plague. They are untrustworthy and downright illegal in some cases and thier in-stock cannot be trusted one bit."
"Would never order from these people again. Needed a monitor quickly for a system I was building for a neighbor. Ordered one from them based on being shown in stock on their web page. Received email 2 hours later saying monitor was not in stock but backordered. Attempted to call but no answer. Sent email cancelling order and ordered from another company. Received a second email an hour after they said this was backordered now saying they had shipped it. Sent another email (no one answers phone) telling them I had ordered from another company based on their (now seemingly twice in error) stock info. They said they could not stop the order but to refuse it when it arrived. Did so, and ever since the company has been trying to charge me not only a shipping fee but a restocking fee, which takes some kind of cheek. Have called several times but never received a return call. They are, however, very good at responding to my efforts through my credit card company to refuse to pay their charges. Still fighting them."
