"I ordered from this company because they were the cheapest on Pricewatch.com for a Samsung 900nf 19" Monitor by about $40 at the time. Their rating was a little over a 6 so I figured what the heck. (NewEgg was out of stock or this would've never happened.) This was on a Thursday. Their website said there were 63 in stock when I ordered. It also stated that the monitor usually ships within 1-2 days. By Monday I still hadn't gotten an email confirmation that it had been sent out. I emailed them and recieved what seemed to be a form letter that they were switching from UPS to FedEx because an impending UPS strike in July. Because of that they were a little backlogged in their accounting division. Now, 1 week later I still had not recieved any notification so I contacted them again. Today they tell me that there are none of those monitors in stock and they have no idea when they will be coming in. If I hadn't have contacted them I have no idea when they would've let me know my order went from pending a backlog to backordered. Needless to say I cancelled my order with them, and now have to wait at least another week to get it from a new company. I am very unhappy with this company and will not do business or recommend them to anyone."
"Never use a Postal Money order. Sent the money order out the day after I placed the order. After 9 days with no monitor on my door step or shipping notification I contacted their customer support. I was told that the monitor would not ship until the check had cleared. I explained that it was a Postal Money order...that it was as good as cash and there was no place that ever treated them like a personal check. I was simply told it was company policy and the order would not ship until it had cleared. Four days later, still nothing, at this rate I will be lucky to have the monitor within 3 weeks of the initial order Will deffinately not order from this company again due to their money order policy."

"Polite customer service and reasonable price. The shipping somehow is very slow. Ordered a case and a keyboard together on Wendsday, on the coming Monday only the case was shipped out. I rechecked the stock information about the keyboard. It shows 378 left, so it is cearly not backordered. Just can't wait anymore, have to cancel the keyboard and pay 10% cancellation fee, also the part of the shipping fee related to the keyboard was not refunded."

"I ordered the Antec PLUS1080B from EMS, who had the lowest price on pricewatch. It took a while for it to be shipped out. I ordered thrusday and it shipped Monday, which is ok I guess. Anyways I arrived in only 2 days so I cann't complain there. Packageing is ok, just the standard box with strafoam, however the box was torn. But I figure that's Fedex's doing. Overall I would definitely buy from then again if I see the right price. And they answer emails real fast. "

"The actual surfing of the site was a bit of a pain. Very slow website. I bought an Antec case from them. There were few, if any pictures to show me that the case I was buying was the case I wanted. I had to open up 2 windows to compare the case specs to the one listed on Newegg.com! Only reason I stuck with EMS was that the total cost was lower. Also, they seem to make quite a profit on their shipping charges. I was charged $25 for shipping my case UPS. I finally (ordered Friday morning) got shipping confirmation on Monday night. When I tracked my order, it was shipped FedEx. So I went to the FedEx site to check what their shipping would be. From the zipcode they shipped from, to mine, the cost they charged me was double what they had to pay. I don't like the fact that they make a profit on shipping. If the case was $12 more then I would have been happy to pay it. But the fact that I was over charged on shipping so they could profit from it bugs me. Needless to say, I won't be back to EMS for my online shopping even if I do find a lower price from them..."
"I bought a Brother HL-1440 Laser Printer Tuesday night at around 11 P.M. I was looking through pricescan and saw that they had the lowest price for this printer ($268). I checked on Resellerratings.com to see the reputation of this website. I saw that they had only a 6.25 (which isn't too bad) but also, from reading the reviews, they didn't seem too bad, so I decided to take a chance and buy the printer from them. Next day, Wed. morning I got a letter from them saying they have received my order and that they will send me another email once my shipment has been shipped. They sent another email thursday afternoon saying my item has been shipped, and gave me a tracking #. When i clicked on my ups tracking # and checked it up, to my surprise, my shipment was already at my subdivision. I was kind of surprised it got here so fast because it has only been about one day since i purchased the order. Sure enough, about an hour after i checked that email, the ups guy rang the doorbell and presented the printer to me. The brother was packed nicely and I am using it at this moment. No problems and seems like I bought a good printer. Very fast, faster than my sister's hp printer. Thanks EMS for sending such a quick order."
"No problem with ordering, shipping, or notification. Shipper (UPS) damaged Antec Case (poorly packaged for shipping). I informed EMS customer aggravation dept of the damaged item and provided sufficient information for them to a) send a replacement and b) have the shipper pick up the damaged item. They choose to tell me to email one of their other email address and report the damaged item. After replying I have not heard back from them in 4 days. I had the shipper pick up the damaged item and will cancel the charge with my credit card company. Won't order from EMS again as there are too many other companies to purchase from that care about their Customer Service reputation and have received great ratings from "we the buyers"."

"EMS was good enough that I linked them on my page. It's not just the fact that they never left you in doubt 'where' your order was, as email was prompt and easily tracked. It's that the order was completed in a professional manner {proper business skills tend to be lacking with some online companies}. Found this company refreshing. Of course I have not had a problem and that can always be another story.
Actually, I emailed first to see how quickly they would respond, usually clues you in to 'business' paractices of a company.
