"Overall I was satisfied with Eastcoast TV.
Even though the Web site said free shipping and on the Shipping map, I am in a grey shadded area, I was contacted and told it was not free shipping to my location.
I was notified that my TV shipped and was given a tracking #. The number I was given was not the tracking # for my order. After a couple of phone calls to East Coast TV I talked to someone who was very helpful, and I was given the correct tracking #. Mistakes happen.

"I bought the new Sharp LC70LE857... this is the 2013 latest model. After Saturday online purchase I got a call the next day (Sunday) to confirm the order. The agent provided some options which were not on the website (I didn't see them) including a better wall mount and a "white glove service" for delivery. The extra money in the delivery was to have the delivery company unpack and powerup the tv to ensure it works - considering Murphy's Law I bought both. This was not upselling, as there was no pressure, only ensuring I understood options of things I didn't see on the web.

The TV arrived precisely on schedule within 3 days with a great delivery crew. They handled the TV BOX as if it were the Mona Lisa. The "white glove" delivery included bringing the tv up one floor (and if you schedule with the delivery service dispatcher when he called on Monday to confirm delivery time and location for Tuesday, it was only an additional $25 per floor - very reasonable). They plugged the TV in and the upper left quadrant had damage (always on) pixels - looked like it was hit with a paintball! Note: the screen was NOT cracked or damaged. Called East Coast and they were great - they had me reject shipment (guys repacked and took tv away), emailed them a picture of the screen, and they expedited delivery of a replacement unit. In 2 days the replacement unit arrived and was perfect... was enjoying my new tv on Friday.

Considering the wonderful price (lowest on Internet) and 30% below stores, spending a few dollars to protect against the "unexpected" is really smart. MOST IMPORTANTLY, EAST COAST TVs distinguished themselves as THE BEST. It is easy to write a review when things go good - but a company makes their reputation when things go really bad... wasn't their fault the tv had a defect. But their concern, prompt/instant attention, and fantastic service (recall I had already paid) in correcting the situation, makes this merchant absolutely THE BEST.

Next year (when prices come down), I will be using EAST COAST TVs to buy the 87 inch 4K UHDTV for my final "man cave" when I retire for good. Absolutely, positively recommend them as a merchant. And will use them for all future purchases and will recommend them to everyone - please buy the full insurance and delivery check!!!

For the Sharp TV itself - the 70LE857 is a stunning picture and the AQUOS picture and dual core processors make it a fantastic unit. HOWEVER - please note that to enjoy a movie, you have to turn off all the "motion" enhancements... the LCDs are well known (several articles on the Internet) for making film look like PBS VIDEO (like it was shot with a video camera and not filmed). This makes the tv not as good as the DLPs (however, DLPs are being phased out so there is not much else you can do). The contrast and color saturation are excellent... again, except for the VIDEO effect, the Sharp 70LE857 is an excellent picture. Before you buy - go to the store and ask to see a BluRay of an old movie... some people HATE this effect (I can live with it).

As far as LCD/LEDs, the 857 provides a great picture. The 3D is ACTIVE (why I will get a 4K next year), but it is easy to set up and use.

SHARP has an online setup and registration for this unit. I called to setup the wireless Internet connection (it is NOT clear from the manual or online prompts how to do this) - minimal wait time, got a knowledgable US person IN THE USA (thank God I didn't have to converse with someone in Indonesia like some other manufacturers), and he helped me setup the tv and internet and setup my registration... very cool (almost as good as APPLECARE).

All in all, would obviously recommend EAST COAST TV for all brands, and the SHARP is good (knock wood for reliability) value for the latest technology in LCD/LED. Hope this review helped you!"
