"East Coast TVs was recommended to me from a friend that was very satisfied with them from a past purchase. Because of this I purchased a couple of TVs from them. Their internet site was very easy to get around on. After checking out online about an hour or so later I received a phone call from one of their salesmen. He just wanted to confirm my order and saw what I was going for TV wise and notified me of a mistake I had made while ordering the wrong TV. That was a great catch on their part. He fully explained the delivery process and options. He was very helpful and took time to answer all of my questions ( I mean hey how many times do you have a TV shipped to your house?). Never the less I was very please with the purchasing experience and the follow up from East Coast TVs to make sure I was satisfied with my new TVs. I plan to use East Coast TVs for now on and will be ordering from them again in the near future. Thanks guys!!!"
"I purchased my 55" plasma Panasonic VT50 TV for an excellent price through East Coast. They did call after the sale to try and upgrade my shipping for an additional charge but I declined without an issue. They also added an insurance fee but I still got the TV for much less than I could anywhere else. Delivery was fast and the TV works great."
"UPDATE: After posting theis review, I was contacted by an East Cost TVs representative. They said they wanted to make me a happy customer, and offered me a $100 refund for my troubles. In exchange, I aggreed to update this reveiw with a more favorable rating.
This was an experience I could have done without and it was definetly NOT worth the $125 I saved (basically tax and grill cover). They use their low price to bait you, then they quickly call you with an up-sell phone call. In my case, I was purchasing a weber grill that list locally at lowes for $1899. East Cost had it for $1725 with FREE SHIPPING. I immeidiatly got the up-sale call and was told that I was outside their shipping area and that shipping would cost me $149. This was after already having placing the order and providing a shipping address. I declined the order and they offered to throw in a free cover ($59). I still declined. They then said they would reduce shipping to $125, but tried to pull back the offer for the free cover (reailly?). After getting them to agree to $125 shipping and the free cover, they snuck in a Shipping Insurance charge of $18.88 (not optional). They guaranteed my grill would arrive in 5 days and I would receive a tracking# soon. 3 days later I had not received a confirmation or a tracking# number so I called. After a on hold time of about 15 minutes, a very rude rep answered and asked for my order#, immediatly after getting my order# they hung up on me. This happened twice. Mind you my credit card was already charged. I decided to give it one more shot, this time I seemed to get the manager or owner. He was very helpfull and seemed to get thigs moving and gave me a direct number to call him. He assured me I would have a tracking# number withing the next hour. 24hrs later, still no tracking#. I called back again, he assured me he personally saw it load on the truck and it would arrive in 4 days. He also would see why I haven't received a tracking#. I did finally get a tracking# later that evening. Item wasn't picked up until the next day. I did finally receive the grill 8 days later, but the cover was not included. I had to call back again to have that sent seperately, it arrived today. 17 days later and a lot of agrivation, my transaction is complete. Don't be sucked in by the low price, it's just bait. I would have rathered paid the $125 I saved and avoided the aggrivation."

The sales rep did upsell me, but it was for things I needed and the prices were competitive, so that wasn't a problem.
The "White Glove" delivery was nothins like it was described and, it turned out, was overpriced.
Delivery time, at almost two weeks, was a bit longer than I expected; I know now it's because the delivery company only comes to Houston twice a week, but would have appreciated getting a realistic delivery date when I placed my order.
Everything arrived in good condition and in the original, factory packaging. The picture quality on the television is simply mind-blowing"

"I found East Coast TVs while doing comparison shopping on-line for a new TV - 55" Samsung Smart TV. They had the best price for the TV we were looking for. The day after I placed the order on-line, their representative called to verify the order and to make sure I had the appropriate cables for installation. The TV was delivered on the day promised, the delivery men were very pleasant and checked to make sure the TV was in good working order.
After delivery, the company made a follow up call to make sure we were satisfied with our purchase.

"Picked up a deal on and LG TV 55LM8600 for 1400.00 and change. The white glove service was great... aside from the late delivery which was no fault of theirs and had to do with the truck.
ECTVs may come off as brash and fast talkers, because they are... They are from New Jersey so you should expect that ;)
