"I love the company and have absolutely loved my laptop with exception to keys getting stuck on keyboard. Sent in once under waranty to have a key fixed. A few months later, I had 3 more keys sticking due to large gaps on mechanical keyboard. I did not want to have more keys stick a few months after getting these fixed, so had them replace keyboard. When I talked with them on phone I was given an estimate of $75 service fee (included shipping) and around $90 for keyboard ($165 total). I was unable to get a confirmation on if they had a keyboard in-stock and an actual price. I called to check on service of laptop, and still did not get a confirmation or official estimate on price. Then I received an email notice that the work was completed and a bill for $225 including 10-14 day shipping (Im hioing I get it in standard 5-7 days). It cost me $68 to ship to them so cost me a total of $293 to replace a keyboard on a 2 year old laptop that was originally $1200. If it cost them $70 to ship back to me, I can somewhat understand the bill, but I would much have preferred to know in advance, and to have an accurate breakdown of labor, shipping and actual (non-inflated) cost of keyboard. I would have hands down made my next laptop purchase from Eluktronics, however, I am reluctant after this experience. Before this I had a lenovo laptop for 6 years before I had any problems with it. I love I can talk to someone, in english, and have an intelligent conversation with customer service, and my experience other than this with the company has been amazing. I hinestly did not like writing this review, I wanted so much to give them 5 stars but just couldnt. Maybe I have high expectations, but I would expect a $1200 laptop to last at least 3 years with no issues if not abused. IMHO, you would need to use this laptop in a clean-room environment to keep particles out of keyboard. I would hope I can get at least 2 more years out of this laptop without issue."
