"First of all, i will never shop at expansys again. The reason i say that is, majority of online shoppers loook at price first then the 'shipping' options. For my item, expansys had listed 2 days shipping process. Which i thought was understandable but my item took 6 days to be shipped from Expansys. No, they can not simply say oh it was out of stock. Item was listed as 'in stock.' I was very disappointed with their shipping process and i will not be browsing let alone shopping with Expansys."

"I ordered a PDair case for my Motorola Flipout phone. It took nearly a month to receive it, but since it was a back order that's understandable. However, the Expansys website indicated this case comes with a 360 degree rotating belt clip. When the case finally arrived, there was no belt clip. Expansys has recently removed this the reference to this feature from their website.
When I contacted Expansys about this issue, they provided an RMA form. I asked them (repeatedly) for a voucher for the return shipment, but they ignored my requests.
Everyone makes mistakes, but these folks won't take responsibility for theirs. My advice: Don't do business with people who refuse to make their mistakes right."

"BEWARE!! THEIR PRE-ORDER PRICES MAY CHANGE: On Sept 8, their website advertised a pre-order price for the Nikon P7100 of $414.99, so (along with a coupon for $10 off any order above $250) I put in a pre-order for a total of $404.99 (since shipping was advertised as being free). I got an email confirmation, which (curiously) did not state what was the price for the item. Yesterday (Sept 15) I noticed that their pre-order price for that camera had jumped to $619.99 (after, for a couple days, it had dropped to $394.99). So I tried to phone them both on their toll (to sales, and then also to customer service) and hard-to-uncover toll-free (1-***-***-****) numbers but never got anyone to answer. So I sent an URGENT, high-priority email asking whether or not they would honor what I thought had been the total $404.99 price (and to cancel the order if they were NOT going to honor it). Today (Sept 16) on not having gotten a reply to that email, I again phoned on their toll-free line near their (Central Time) opening hour, and fortunately got to speak with a representative who eventually informed me that their "Purchasing Manager" ultimately would set what would be the Pre-Order pricing and that their fine-print (weasel words) stated that such prices were not guaranteed and were subject to change. Naturally I cancelled my order, since I will not do business with any establishment that shows one price and then leaves it open to potentially try to sock you with a different one AFTER you have put in a confirmed order. I'd much rather pay MSRP to a reputable dealer such as B&H or Adorama (although I will always try to find a particularly good deal whenever such can be uncovered). Sadly, this place is NOT one with which to be safe in securing a stated purchase price."
