"DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER with ExpressitSoftware.COM

Ordered Symantec - Norton Internet Security 2002 on September 24, 2002. Repeated e-mail requests for status have gone un-answered for over a month. Their phone number has been disconnected, but their web site is still up and accepting orders. I had placed a previous order which was partially filled, but it was shipped almost a month late and no response to request for overnight shipping refund.

"I ordered a COA and Licese for Windows XP Pro. The order was placed Sunday, 9-17-02 and my card was charged 9-19-02. I have not received any product to date, 10-27-02. I have e-mailed the seller and received no response. I have phoned the seller gotten an
answering machine and never been called back.
I do not believe the vendor intends to send me the item.

They do not respond to messages
and though I have asked to have the order cancled and my card credited they have not done that either.

I would recomend that all prospective buyers stay clear
of this seller Express It Software

"Placed order for 10 XP licenses to be shipped UPS. Two weeks later called for UPS tracking number. Number was not available. Blamed it on new people in shipping, but I have yet to speak with anyone but Letto or Jenny (basement operation?). Promised they would be shipped the next day.. Never arrives, and every week I call I get the same excuse. My credit card was charged, and am in process with them to reverse charges because of fraud. Buyer beware!!!"

"On Oct. 11th I placed an order online for a WinXP Pro license and paid for UPS 3 day shipping as my customer needed this by the 18th of Oct. I, as always, printed out the order webpage for my records. I never received an email confirmation. Today, Oct. 17th, I called Expressit to check on my order since their order status portion of the website is 'under construction'. The person I spoke with took my name and phone number to look up my order. After a couple minutes on hold she came back to see if I had used a different phone number to order. I again gave her my information. Another couple minutes on hold. She comes back and tells me that she doesn't know why, but my order never went through. They have no record of it and that they are currently out of stock for WinXP licenses. Although my credit card was never charged I still face having to order from another company and pay for overnight shipping or face loosing a customer. I wish I had checked this site before I ordered. DO NOT order from this company. All 9 reviews I see hear are negative and now there are 10."

"My experience in dealing with this company is completely negative. I placed an order for Win2k licenses on 9/3/02. After several weeks (on or about 9/18/02) I called to follow up on the order, as I had not received the licences. I was informed that the licenses had been shipped via USPS on 9/5/02 - however, there was no tracking information available for an order valued at over $300.00. I was told that they would check the shipping warehouse to see where the licenses were. They never got back in touch with me to update the status of the order. I also did not receive the licenses. I followed up again via phone on 9/25/02. At first the number I called ***-***-****) was answered with a fax tone. I then called the the toll free number which had a message indicating that a customer service rep would talk to me shortly - and then it beeped, indicating to me that is was simply an answering machine, and that the aforementioned customer service rep was never going to talk to me. I tried the toll number again and after about 25 rings someone answered & promptly placed me on hold. When this person finally decided to talk to me it was the same conversation as a week earlier, except that this time "some employees had left the company, so it appeared that my previous call had not been followed up on". I was told that a shipment was due in on 9/26/02, and that I would receive my licenses via overnight shipment to arrive on 9/27/02. Somehow I get the feeling that I will receive no overnight packages on 9/27!

UPDATE 1/14/03: Well, as I had expected there was no overnight package delivered on 9/27, nor any time thereafter. I cantacted ExpressIt & spoke w/ 'Jack' on 10/3/02, asking him to cancel the order & credit the $308.00 back to the credit card - which also was not done. So here we are, three months later with no licenses & no credit. Kind of makes you wonder how these people can stay out of prison! I will contact them again today to request a credit for the goods that were never delivered (I should be demanding interest on the amount at this point!).

"I placed an order via phone with Express IT after seeing a deal for Windows 98 coa's for $25. Ordered 4 of them and was told that it would probably ship later that week as their supplier was running behind. I never received them so followed up with a phone call 1 1/2 weeks later. I was told that it had shipped US Postal but I have never seen it. They said they would reship the items. Still didn't receive them. (Don't you think they would have a Postal receipt signature required for an order valued at $100?) Called a week later and got voicemail several times...I have sent numerous emails but nobody responds. I hope my credit card company can retrieve the money they so promptly charged the very day I ordered the merchandise. I'm afraid that I am out $100. Refrain from ordering from this company. I have contacted Pricewatch about their unscrupulous dealings and will now contact the Better Business Bureau in their Virginia area."

"This company is neither express nor do I believe they have much in the way of software. Despite my credit card being charged immediately on August 12. I have never received anything nor am I able to contact them by phone (left message) or email (5 emails sent). I am now attempting to have the charge removed via my credit card company.

"Based on my experience, I would advise against doing business with this firm, Express It Inc., otherwise known as Express It Software.

I ordered two pieces of software on 8/2/2002 and a charge promptly appeared on my credit card. Nearly one month later, despite repeated inquiries and status requests, I have not received the software, nor can I confirm that it has shipped, or that they ever intended to ship it. Lately they have begun not answering their phones, even for orders; not a good sign. When I have reached someone, no status information was provided, just empty promises to check on the order or resend it. I am now attempting to have the charge removed from my credit card and cancel my order. Beware!!

"Called to get a price on overnighting a product on Friday Aug. 23rd to be delivered Monday Aug. 26th. They said I had another 30-40 minutes before the order deadline. I called back in 2 minutes and placed the order, and made absolutely sure they were going to ship it Friday so I would get it Monday.

Did not receive the product Monday. Placed multiple phone calls and was given a tracking number that UPS could not find. Called back mid-afternoon to cancel the order and sent an email to follow it up.

Order was shipped 6:00pm anyway, and received today, Tuesday. Too late.

[Separate case:] A different order was placed Friday, Aug. 16th. Was told it would ship Monday Aug. 19th. Never received as of Aug. 27th and ExpressIt is not responding to my request for a tracking number. If my CC is billed the charges will be disputed - I don't think I'll have a problem there.

They have caused me to look foolish to two of my customers and they will not be receiving another order from me!

"Ordered software for a customer's computer installations. Credit card was charged immediately. Software was not shipped. After several phone calls to the company, I was promised overnight shipment. Only part of the software was received, arriving late. I was not given tracking information when requested, and was treated in a very unprofessional manner. Spoke to company rep on July 11, 2002, and was advised that the missing software would ship on July 12. This date, July 17, 2002, we still do not have the rest of the software. Spoke to company and was informed that the order was not shipped our on the 12th and requested that the charges be removed from my credit card. Again, was spoken to sarcastically. I would not recommend this company.
