"For anyone thinking about purchasing this item be warned that the threads for the set screw that holds the "hot rod" will not accept the Traeger set screw without first re-drilling and tapping the threads. Turned out well in the end but if I wasn't "handy in the shop" or have access to a tap and die set I would have sent it back. If you aren't a DYI guy would be best to spend the extra $$'s and buy the one with the hot rod already installed. Otherwise fit and finish are acceptable."
