"Fitness Blowout should be blown out of the fitness world waters. Not only do they lie on the website as well as on the phone they evade, avoid, and intentionally chew up your time with delays. The widely advertised '60 day free in-home trial' becomes only 30 days when you have paid for the unit. The 'free lifetime warranty' doesn't mean anything when they won't fix the unit they sold.
I purchased the CardioZone CZ100 on July 3, 2009 receiving it two weeks later. It was easy to put together though not something I'd want to move often but exactly two weeks later a wheel separated from it's bearing and fell off rendering the unit unusable. When I told them I wanted to send it back after the rep told me it would be a six week delay in getting a wheel from China, he took a wheel off another unit and sent it to me. That was impressive but a falsehood as I was later to find out.
It took two weeks to get a tech out to my house to put on the wheel that took one week to get--do you hear ticking? That is my 'trial' time being wasted. Only the tech refused to do the job he said would take two men to do. Another tech was dispatched after another week's wait--tick, tick, tick--who was able to replace the wheel after a solid 1/2 hour of just removing parts to get to the wheel. Another 1/2 of course to put back together.
The unit never worked as smoothly as I'd hoped but it did seem even stiffer now. After two more weeks of intermittent use the unit was again rendered unusable--(tick, tick, tick, gone) with what I thought was the wheel again but it never actually fell off. I only wanted to return the unit at this point as my 60 days had not expired and I had not gotten to use the unit for even 20 days continuously. See my report at the BBB in the LA office as well as Fitness Blowout's negligent, off-handed, obsequious response.
Not only did they lie about the in-home trial if they were to honor a return I would have to pay for freight and they want it returned in new, non-defective condition when it was either defective from it's inception or the specs are greatly exaggerated. Additionally, adding insult to injury, they will not respond to my repeated attempts to get them to honor at least their warranty by repairing the unit even though they say I do not qualify to return it because I did not use it for a minimum of 30 days.
Not only did they tick away my time with delays they clearly never intended to allow a return and their continued neglect proves they are disreputable, dishonorable, and disgraceful."

"I bought my treadmill last year, and here's a quick synopsis of what I've experienced:
1. The best quality treadmill I've ever used by far, and I've used a ton of them, both @ home and in hotels;
2. Customer service is spotty, and they seem under-manned. Can take several tries (in one case over 10 tries) to get resolution;
Have experienced just 1 problem lately...the quick-touch speed on the 6 mph button sometime takes multiple touches (hard) to make it register, might be a problem with the sensor in the panel. Will see how long it takes them to return my call and help me resolve this issue."
"Be warned!!! There is no RISK FREE Money Back Garauntee! Don't rely on the saleman telling you anything. Don't be fooled by the claims of quality, Money Back or Satisfaction! READ the 6 pages of their contract before you give them your credit card #!!!!! After being sold on the Risk Free purchase, I tried to cancel within 3 days. I found the equipment to be inferior and was told that there is NO CANCELLATION. So they charged my card the full amount $1847 on Feb. 14th They also make no garuantee of delivery ...ever.... READ the "Contract".
I would argue that the "contract" downloaded later is not what I was looking at time of signing, but that is another issue.

They claim that there is NO REFUND, no cancellation because I live within 150miles of the warehouse. This is not what the salesman said as he took my order. In fact he was very reassuring... Now more than a month later,no delivery (thank God since I saw the equipment and it was worth about half what I paid), and I have still not been refunded the money. I was assurred that I had a Risk Free 45 day money back garuantee! HA! The only remedy is for you to spend more!
Here is Mr. Rosen's response to my request that they cancel my order and refund my money. Remember, I asked to cancel it within 3 days and suggested that I would file consumer complaints and dispute this with my credit card company.
I'm sorry but you must be mistaken. Our site does not state anything about a 100% money back guarantee. Where do you see this? I do not appreciate that you are making threats after you have entered into a contractual agreement confirming your approval of our policies. We have been the #1 fitness dealer in the country for 23 years with over 200,000 satisfied customers. Our family business do not take kindly to being bullied by customers who are reneging on a contract. I regret that you have chosen these tactics but I must advise you that if you choose to resort to these threats, we must defend ourselves and for starters, our collections dept. will have no choice but to report your behavior to all three credit bureau which will adversely affect your credit. During these economic times, I do not think that is advisable. We do this to protect innocent companies and consumers from entering into agreements and transactions with customers who have a history of this behavior. Surely, there are better ways to resolve an issue such as this without resorting to these tactics. If you are prepared to resolve this professionally, I will strive to address this amicably. I just enjoy helping people get healthy and fit and not these types of confrontations. Thank you.

So there you are! Nice guy, reputable business? Why does he need to threaten and bully a customer who had reasonably asked to cancel an order (that never shipped I might add) I am single working mother who has to be very careful how I spend what resources I have. Mr. Rosen works very hard also.... at getting your money and keeping it!
