"I read a lot of reviews, good, bad and ugly, about this merchant before my decision to find things out for myself and not be judgmental. First, their sale prices are NEVER posted. You call and have to enter some sort of bargain. The first person I spoke with was Steve but we could not make any head-ways with the item I was interested in.I just got tired of him giving me the run-around and at the end, he pretty much hung up the phone on me. Then Isreal called me back two days later and finally sold the items to me on Aug 19. I got two seprate emails on Aug 26 and Aug 30 saying that the different items in my order had shipped. There was UPS error with delivery of one of the items and it ended up being shipped back to them. A UPS manager called me, apologised and said they were willing to pay for a new item to be sent to me NEXT DAY AIR. She provided an account number to be charged and contact information. I called Fitnessblowout last week and told them but they won't do anything about it. I've talked to Alex and Michael and each promised to call me back but never did. I sent Isreal an email but he didn't respond. They're expecting the item to get back to them and then they'll reship it to me and this could take another 3-4 weeks. The customer's satisfaction is not on their priority list at all. Once the item is sold, they're done with you. So, please beware! They also shipped the other item ( a 240 pounds elliptical) without approval for a liftgate. The freight driver insisted on having an adult around to help lift the equipment since Fitnessblowout did not pay for liftgate or I pay for it. I had to contact Fitnessblowout on that one, made 3 different phone calls before I finally got a call from the freight company just yesterday that a liftgate has been approved. Why was that even left out in the first place? Why does everything with these people have to be so difficult and who has time for the run-around? Unless you really do, you'd be better off paying even a little more for the same item elsewhere; at least for your mental health!"
"I purchased a Pilates Reformer from Fitness Blowout recently. My sales rep., Brad, was courteous and informative. He was not pushy like some other companies' reps have been. When I noticed an error with the sales receipt that was emailed to me, he took my call promptly and fixed the error immediately.
My Pilates Reformer arrived within 11 days of ordering it. The delivery company didn't call me beforehand, but Brad had given me a good estimate of when to expect it. The driver brought the equipment up the front steps of my building and into my unit. Now, I just have to figure out how to put it together. "

"I had an issue with the Upgrade Package when I first bought this unit in 04/2010 and have since decided to NOT keep it after all and will be asking for a refund once again. My other concern that I have had from the get go is with the Amount that was quoted to me by STEVE over the phone and it is to my understanding that such calls are recorded. I was told the unit that I wanted would be $14** something and agreed to it, but, when I finally received my 2nd. Invoice last week, Sept. 13th., it was $1506. The differene is $97.01 I looked at my first invoice and its the shipping charges added together and then added back into the first quote given to me. It is very deceitful to be quoted a price and say there is FREE shipping when in fact it was just added into the price of the unit afterwards. I am in the process of getting this straightened out after 4 months and hope both are resolved soon. If I find I am in the wrong, which I am quite sure I am not, then I will apololize to Fitness Blowout. BUT I have to admit this is the WORST customer service I have ever received. They do not contact you back when they say. AND it seems they drag things out in their favor. I will not stop until they do take me serious. YOU men at Fitness Blowout need to care about your customers more. How would you feel if you bought something and customer service treated you like this. Lesson learnt here, I will never allow something to drag out so long and will take action a lot sooner. Do the right thing and PLEASE Your customers. "I would like to add my experience to the review landscape for what it is worth. It seems most of the reviews good and/or bad are either price or shipping related. On the price/selection side, I would like to take this opportunity to praise the knowledge, professionalism, and integrity of Steve Barzilai. I did a good amount of research on incliners. Upon reading some reviews and having the normal reservations of making a substantial prchase online, I took a leap of faith with FitnessBlowout. Steve went far beyond the normal call of duty displaying the patience and skill set to work me through the competitive options both in terms of pricing and features available. Sometimes the loudest voices are the negative experiences of some. In no way would I trivialize them as I have had my share over the years. That said, it is also appropriate to recognize a very positive experience when earned. Accordingly, I highly recommend Steve and FitnessBlowout to anyone considering any fitness related purchases. "I placed an order online with this company July 13th in early afternoon. It was for a $1475 incline trainer that I was told would be shipping from Georgia. I live in Florida, so turn around time for an LTL freight truck delivery is 2 days. It's now over a week later, I have not received any phone call regarding shipment, so i called. I spoke with BRAD when I placed my order, so I hit Brad's extension again. he said he couldn't help me and transferred me to "customer service". I waited for 25 minutes on hold and then "click". Call over. I called back and got a guy who told me he was just the operator and there was only ONE person back in customer service. Funny part is when you listen to there recorded message for 25 minutes it talks about how great the company is, how FAST, and EFFICIENT service is offered. After holding for another 38 minutes I got nobody. I sent an email through the website regarding my order number and then called Brad's extension again and left a message. It's AMAZING how quickly this company will take your order, but they certainly won't help you with ANYTHING after that. I'm calling my credit card company after reading all of these other reviews, I do NOT recommend dealing with this company or there "LACK OF" customer service.
FOLLOW UP: Later after this review, I receive emails from Brad concerning the order had shipped, but they cannot tell me any tracking. They got a guy named MARTIN involved who told me the following: When it comes to your unit, it’s made by FreeMotion. FreeMotion is located in Utah, not Georgia. At this time we do not have a tracking number as it hasn’t been provided to us as of yet. We are updated on a bi-weekly basis by the manufacturers and the item has to reach the first docking hub for whichever freight company will be delivering it in order for the tracking number to be generated.
So they want customers to wait over 10 days for tracking?? In the meantime after I posted here, I received an email about the SAME trainer for $200 less with free shipping. When I inquired with them about the price match GUARANTEE - I was told that the other company must match everything they offer - the shipping, the LIFETIME guarantee, and the same packaging. How would anyone know how it is packaged, or what "guarantee" each individual company offers. This company really has RIP OFF written all over. I told the company to cancel, and I canceled with my credit card - it has not shipped, they could not confirm shipping and they do NOT price match as I was told on the phone. If the item shows up at my door it will be refused, return to sender as it was canceled.
REGARDING THE FOLLOW UP - Ask Brad or Martin who this is, unless you have a TON of problems and can't reference this one it should be easy to figure out, then again, with everything I found online, I assume you have too many issues to follow up with which is why you stated you did not know "who" this was."

"This is the worst comapny I have ever dealt with. My salesperson was Brad Keys and the only time he was helpful was when he took my money. I ordered two pieces of equipment from them on May 30 and still have not received either piece of equipment. It is now July 10. I have contacted this company more than 20 times and get no responses or just excuses. I was told many different shipping dates and then would not receive the items. I have had to report the company to the Better Business Bureau, the Attorney General of California, and I had to dispute the charges made on my credit card. I still have yet to receive an apology. I want a refund and the equipment but I only get excuses with that too. The only thing that you will get from this company is excuses. They keep blaming the shipping company. However, if their shipping company is so unreliable they need to get a new comapny. "
"Ordered a new Stairmaster Stepmill 916 on 5/17/2010. 8 weeks later still no delivery. Contacted customer service several times over the last 4 weeks, left numerous voicemails, no returned calls. On 6/23/2010 I was told by CS rep Kevin, that the item was shipped from manufacturer on 6/16/2010. Unless they are shipping via "pony express," there is no reason 3 weeks later and nothing to show for it. I contacted Stairmaster and they informed me that no such shipment was made to my location.
I should have known that their prices were to good too be true. This is a shame since I had hoped to get the most for my company's budget.
Should have sticked with Ironcompany & Bigfitness, spent thousands with them and have always be extremely pleased.
UPDATE: 7/21/10 Still nothing. No response from FB, was told 2 weeks ago, it was a "shipping" issue. BS, Brad's a F**KN liar. Stay as far away from these A$$holes as you can. "
"I worked with Jonathan who made every effort to get this deal through: $1249 for FreeMotion s5.6 Strider (under the Father's Day Deals) with 0% financing for 12mos, 2year labor warranty, free lifetime new replacement parts warranty, 60-day trial period with no 20% restocking fee and FREE return shipping if I wasn't happy with the product within the trial period. Guess what?
1. 12-mo./0% interest financing had a $90.55 set-up fee;
2. the 2nd year labor warranty could not be put in writing (the 1st year labor warranty is manufacturer's labor warranty);
3. the waiver of the 20% restocking fee and free return shipping could not be added to the Invoice despite the Invoice stating customer is responsible for such fees.
ALL CUSTOMERS: MAKE SURE EVERYTHING YOU NEGOTIATED IS IN WRITING AND ADDED TO THE INVOICE THE SAME DAY YOU PLACE THE ORDER. If you wait until the next day, you're out of luck.
I ended up cancelling the order and found the item on Amazon.com for $1067 ($300 less) from an authorized dealer that had no bad reviews and who could ship it to me 10 days faster.
Don't get me wrong - Jonathan was pleasant and profesional to work with. He did everything in his power to iron out the kinks but ultimately, it's the company's inefficient policies that may need re-evaluating (which the manager, Niko agreed).
From the past reviews, I'm concerned with how long before I see a refund. To justify the bad reviews, the company will tell you they had "growing pains" as they grew to a multi-million dollar company - obviously at the consumer's expense. It took 3 attempts to cancel this order as they kept trying to satisfy me however, they simply could NOT put it in writing on the Invoice.
If you read the past reviews, you'll see that the company makes effort to resolve the "bad" ones however, it's usually too late. For a fitness company, you shouldn't have a customer so angry weeks later that they're blogging about you - it's not healthy!"
"When I read some of the on line reviews for FitnessBlowout.com after I had already placed my order, I was worried that this was not going to turn out well. However, in truth, I had no reason to worry as FitnessBlowout.com fulfilled all of their promises and more!!
I reviewed a number of sites for an elypitcal machine, and FitnessBlowout.com had the best price and features. So I ordered their "CardioZone Ultra-Compact 300" elyptical machine on May 29th, 2010. As it was Memorial Day Weekend, my order was not actually processed until Tuesday, June 1st, and I received the order confirmation on that day which said to allow 14 business days for shipment.
I received a call from the freight company on June 9th to schedule delivery for the 11th, and they said they would be at our home between 1:00-5:00 PM. At 12:30PM, the delivery driver called to verify delivery and said that he was on his way.
The truck arrived at about 1:15PM, and helped me to examine the shipment to ensure that there was no shipping damage. It was a brand new machine, very well packaged, and there were no damaged or missing parts. He then used his liftgate and hand truck to put the crate exactly where I wanted it. He could not have been more helpful. Very professional.
As the crate is quite heavy, my wife and I took it apart and carried the machine piece by piece into our home to make it easier (it is really well built, so it is heavy), and went to work putting it together. The instructions were very clear and simple, and the separately marked packages of bolts, etc., matched to the instruction steps made it impossible to make a mistake. A special surprise was that all the tools you need are included in the package.
It took us about an hour to put it all together, and everything worked perfectly. I did have one question during the assembly, and a 5 minute call to Customer Service got me the answer I needed; no problem.
The best part of all is that the machine is even more than what we expected! It is really well built, performs perfectly, and the unique "Stride Adjust" feature is a snap to use. The Control Center is awesome with the ability to store data for 9 users, a broad range of built in routines, a heart rate monitor, and a fan! Much more than we expected.
We would recommend FitnessBlowout.com to anyone who is looking to purchase exercise equipment. They really delivered for us, and we are very pleased.
