"I ordered a camcorder. They called to tell me that it is an export model and doesn't come with anything. They talked me into buying a 'US' model for an extra $100 and I refused to get any extended warranty. I was charged for a 2 day delivery. After 10 days there was no sign of the camcorder. The company kept saying that 'it was shipped', 'the order was lost',.. and even gave me a tracking number with DHL (which did not exist). I called my Visa and after My Visa contacted them (with me on the phone), they agreed that it was never shipped. The company is very dishonest. I am tring to get my card credited back."

"They are a horrible, HORRIBLE store!! I decided to buy my boyfriend the Canon Powershot A310 for Christmas. So I did comparison shopping and they came up as the cheapest which I thought great! Well about an hour after I order I get an email saying something is wrong with my order so I call. They guy tries telling me they don't have that camera because it is hard to get. Right, that is why they are a million other sites that sell it?! Instead of sitting there arguing with the guy I told him to just cancel my order. He tried to get me to buy a different camera, but I was persistant and told him to cancel because I don't have time for their *insert profanity*. My order was canceled. Then I get an email saying my order was "Canclled". Yeah, rude and stupid!! "

"I am an Air Force pilot stationed in Kuwait flying cargo all over Iraq. I found a Fujifilm Finepix S7000 zoom 6.3 for $400..When I received the camera, the invoice charged me $566.94. Very difficult getting in touch with the company.....very upset and I would never recommend this to anyone. I will be contacting my senator for improper business practice by this company....Very restrictive return policy....An upsetting experience..especially being staioned in Kuwait....DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I just purchased a 51 inch Toshiba form foto connection, I ordered it on 10/15/2004, I got a call from scott confirming my order, and my TV was shipped out monday 10/19/04, my only complaint is the shipping company they use DHL, is terrible, but I would definetly order from them again, I recieved my TV sat 10/23/04. "I got the 37" HDTV Sharp AQUOS LCD TV from FotoConnection for a killer price. I called around and no one could beat it. After getting it I ran across sites talking about how FotoConnection is not a good site to buy from. Well I had already gave them my card number for $3600 so I decided to ride it through and see how it went.
I am happy to say that I got my new LCD TV a little less then 2 weeks later with no problems with the company. One thing they did that was a little strange was they had me fax my credit card and drivers license to them to protect from fraud. I have never seen this in online orders but then again I have never charged that much so I was not to surprised. Also some people on here are saying that they try to sell you more then you need. Not true for me. They never tried to sell me anything other then a mount that I wanted anyway. They did try and sell me on a 4 year warranty but other places I called tried to do this as well. I am sure they get a good kick back from this. Just say no and stick to it. They will try and get you to change your mind.
Anyway.. I had a good experience with this company and wanted to let it be known.

"I don't know how these people can stay in business. They are the most unprofessional retailer I have ever dealt with. They say the product is in stock... it is a U.S. version and that it would be shipped within two weeks. After another call in two weeks, Andrew tells me that the camera is an import model (camera only) and doesn't come with anything but a demo battery. No charger, no software... nada! It is being shipped directly from Japan and could take another 4 weeks! Do these guys think we were born yesterday! ! ! Don't waste your time with this online store (what a front)."

"I ordered a Casio Exilim camera, which FotoConnection had advertised as "IN STOCK." When I hadn't received my camera by the first week in Oct 04, I called the store and they said it would ship the next day - -that they had just gotten a few in. No camera. I called on October 15, and was told once again, that there had been a mistake but that it would ship on the 16th. No camera. I just called today (Oct 21) and was told that FotoConnection does NOT carry that camera, and it should never have been advertised as "In Stock." The salesperson then had the audacity to try to sell me a different camera, telling me that the Casio I ordered originally has too many mechanical problems. What a ripoff! AVOID! AVOID!"

"Boy, do I wish I'd seen these reviews before I ordered. These people are total rip-off artists. I too ordered the Pioneer DVR-810H which was listed for $418, only to be called and told that if I wanted the warranty included it would be $469! This is totally against the law. And then when I canceled, I was informed that I could never order again. Like I'd want to!"

"This is the worst experience We have had buying on the web. They make promises they don't keep customer service is rude and unresponsive. We have reported them to the BBB and have had to dispute their charges with our credit card company. No computer but $2000 billed to our credit card. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY AVOID THEM AT ALL COST."

"I placed my order via the website, and received the "confirmation" email directing me to call the 800 number. When I called, "Joey" went into his high-pressure tactics to sell me an extended warranty (I bought a factory refurb IBM ThinkPad).
I declined, and he then told me there was a mandantory 6% insurance charge on the order ($30).
That got me pretty ticked, and if I'd done my homework on resellerratings.com, I would have cancelled right then. I finally gave in, though, as I didn't have time to go shopping again. After reading the ratings here, I was sure I'd been had. Fortunately, though, the product arrived three days ahead of schedule, in perfect condition, with all accessories and promised software.

If this company had conducted themselves in a professional manner, without the slimy tactics on pricing, I would have been perfectly satisfied. The price including their "insurance" was still tolerable, if they would have simply stated up-front, at the time of order, what the real price was. I would sure hate to try to collect on their "insurance".

"Had to return a battery because it would not charge. My credit has never posted. When I call about it, they sya it will be 5 business days. That has happened twice now. My return got there almost a month ago. Also their customer service people have the personality of a limp dishrag. The salesman are pretty pushy on selling batteries and chargers as well. The batteries are sub-standard quality and cost almost as much as the original manufacturers battery. Overall, I'm not pleased with this company."

"From the previous comments, this definately appears to be a repeating scam.

I also found this store through a pricing engine. I ordered an "in stock" Pioneer DVR online. I received a confirmation email and the next day a voice mail indicating that I need to call them to verify my shipping address. I called and spoke to William at extension 276. He tried to sell me an extended warranty. I declined and then he told me that I was getting a Japanese version with Japanese manuals and the warrantly would not be good in the US. Nowhere on their site does it indicate that this is a Japanese version of the product. He also tried to eventually sell me the “US Version” for $40 more. Needless to say, I cancelled my order.
