"I was also nervous about purchasing a microwave here after I did ..THEN read the horrible reviews. The price was better than others, the shipping fair, but it was the emails that told me nothing of if or when my item would arrive, combined with my personal sales persons mumbling and non-chalant attitude ("it will be in 48-72 hours...." WAKE UP LEVI!) that was unnerving. Te delay in clearing my payment (3 business days)the lack of any email as to when it was shipped, all of this made me more nervous. However, 8 business days after I ordered the item (from a warehouse 20 miles away) DHL showed up at my door with the right item!!!! I don't know if I'd shop here again, and I found this through "FROOGLE" which doesnt rate sellers like MYSIMON does, I'm satisfied, but, would not use them, or make a major purchase using FROOGLE again. I was prepared for a pushy salesmane on the phone, and he was. There was an additional $100 required shipping insurance charge that wasn't spelled out during the purchase process, which was quite annoying. But it was still a better deal than other vendors, and the pacakge arrived on time and I was billed appropriately. "

Unfortunately, the guaranteed delivery date is long past--no response to the phone calls. No promised call back. Web site does not work in attempting to check on the order status. Very "hard sell". Bought a camera (Pentax optio s5i).Arrived reasonably quickly but credit card charged for extra 6% (insurance number not detailed on site or by hard sales guy on phone).
Unfortunately I had also purchased a $2400 plasma TV at that time and became concerned.No ability to track.Lies about DHL shipping procedure not allowing tracking for big TV's.Lies about having DHL receipts.Lies about hold/pre authorisation on credit card and item shipped.Hangs up when informed call is taped.Finally agrees to cancel and says I will receive e-mail some time next year.After incessant calling sends 9 e-mails in a row (obviously out of spite).
Proceeds to tell me that I will be charged a 5% cancellation fee and $169 shipping (non-refundable)..(Good luck-credit card has been cancelled)

"Miserable experience. The representatives do not tell the truth--stating that they "shipped out today" when in fact they don't have the product in stock. I learned this after waiting three weeks and multiple calls to find out what was going on. They are prompt in taking your credit card info even though they don't have the product. No follow up from them. Had to make multiple calls to find out what was going on, always waiting on hold to speak to someone. Could never track the order on their site, always had to call. Never apologized for lying about not having the product. Poor, poor service. Don't use them."
"Placed the order with item showing "In Stock" and they immediately billed my credit card. After I didn't receive the item in 10 days, I called and they told me it was on backorder but it then should ship out in 2 days. I called the day after it should have shipped and was on the phone for over 1.5 hours getting various different stories. They range from "It's on backorder another 1.5 weeks" to "It's already shipped". Finally I got to one person who told me they didn't and wouldn't have it and would cancel my order and hung up on me before I got his name. Completely uncalled for.
They have the WORST customer service I've ever seen. They where rude, un-helpful, and then lied to me. I suspect that they didn't want to honor the price they sold it to me at and sat on it."

"I was looking for a Epson Stylus 1280 printer for Christmas present for my wife. Searching Froogle, the best price was at fotoconnection of course. They beat other site by about $50. So I called their 800 number to confirm that the printer was new and not a reconditioned return. They assured me it was new and that they had one in stock. I ordered online a little later that night. In the following days I received a couple emails to 'confirm my order' and a phone call at 10:30pm. Well they tried to sell me an overpriced warrantee and cables etc. After saying no for the fiftieth time, they said 'ok, we'll fill this order'. It was a bit annoying, but I was saving money (I thought). Over the next several days, they started sending me emails stating a problem with order. At this point, before calling them, did a search to see if any might possible have had a bit of trouble with these people. After reading the bounty of complaints, all just like mine, I knew I was going to cancel to order. So I called them, asked what the problem was not the least bit surprised when they replied 'oh, do you want to buy some paper for the printer or maybe a warrantee?’ I said no, cancel this order! The only good thing with dealing with these clowns at fotoconnection is that it brought me to this site. Now I know where to check before I order online."
"Searched for a Canon camcorder online and came across FotoConnection and what appeared to be great pricing. Before placing my order I called them to confirm the pricing shown on website and that the product was in stock. After the salesperson confirmed that it was in stock, the priced quoted was substantially more than that shown on their website. When questioned about the internet price, I was told that price was for the camera body only and did not include any accesories like the battery, cables, software, etc. Be careful with pricing that seems too good and if you're smart you WON'T BUY FROM THIS VERY DECEPTIVE COMPANY!"

I made a 600 dollar purchase and paid for 2 day air deliver--ten days later it arrived, and the package was misaddressed ( it was pure luck that the delivery guy figured out the package was for me!). "FC-97719 Had multiple Emails detailing errors in my order. Each was acknowledged to be a mistake upon review. Told order would be shipped next day. Then got another, and another with supposed misinformation. Was qouted a higher price each time than the original advertised price and the original invoice. "Located a sony TV stand via a web search and called for pricing. The price delivered was $100 less than other sources so I placed the order. As an after thought I checked resellerratings for their rating and had second thoughts. Called to cancel (4 hrs later) and was told that it was already shipped. Sure that it had not been shipped that quick I called my credit card company and asked if they had authorized the purchase. Of course they had not so I called back and again asked to cancel. Was told that it was coming via 3 day air (over 100 lb item). When I told him that I checked with CC company and no purchase had been authorized he put me on hold. Came back and said it was cancelled. Not worth the $ saved to deal with this kind of merchant. Buyer beware."

"I ordered a Sony DSC-F828. I checked the webprice, and it was cheaper than any other company, so I ordered it. Today I called the company to confirm shipping, and the salesman started trying to sell me all the options. Lens filters, lenses, etc. When I said no to the options, the sales guy informed me that the camera came with no battery, no memory, no charger, no cables, no software, nothing! He said I could get everything else for an extra $250 (approx). When I told him that it was dishonest, and I wanted to cancel my order, he argued with me for 10 minutes. When I insisted on cancelling, he hung up the phone on me. Beware of this company. They are dishonest, and impolite. I wouldn't go anywhere near them!"
