Was not helpful.

"I purchased an item with a promo code. I invoice reflected the discount from the promo code, but the billing charged me full price. I call Frys.com to resolve the problem and the person I talked to was not helpful and would not transfer me to a manager. I was just given the run around as he kept repeating himself. I had to go through my bank to get the problem resolved. "

Frys was all sold out.

"When I tried to buy online from Frys they sent a short note that they were allo sold out.
I telephoned customer service to make sure the notice was correct and that they did not charge my card. No reply from them since then.

TV never delivered

"I responded to a Fry's advertisement for a Samsung 40" LED TV and made my purchase on line. I was called by Fry's and told this item was NOT available after the Fry's customer service rep said she checked stock in all locations. Why advertise and let a customer purchase an item that is not available?

Cancelled and never notified me

"After placing my offer fry’s decided to cancel my order without notifying me because I was sending a present to my mom. The address on the bill to was different than the ship to so they thought they would cancel the order. When I called the kid said so sorry nothing I can do about it. The only person that can is not available. He also said they should have called you before they canceled. "

Bad shipping

"I tried to place an order and they would not ship because our town is not in their database. So I tried to ship to a friend's house. After placing the order 3 times, which the website said was available for shipping, all 3 orders were cancelled by Fry's. "Items not available." Since there is no warehouse (according to one representative) they try to ship from the nearest store, which did not have the item. I only tried shipping because I could not get it in the store.
I will never try to order from Fry's again. Very unhappy with Fry's!

Wrong items delivered

"I ordered 3 extra large phone cases. These are inexpensive really, but they break every 6 months or so from me putting them on and off belts. Some times quicker in the winter from coats etc.

I received 1 extra large and 2 medium that won't fit my phone. Someone was not paying attention or just didn't care or thought I wouldn't care. When I called they said they had no other extra large in stock so I assume the person picking out the items knew that and sent the 2 smaller ones instead. How stupid? I had paid shipping based on the 3 items.

I am getting sent a return label for the other 2 that don't fit but I don't know if I am getting refunded for the items or items + shipping once sent back to Fry's.

"Don’t get your hopes up if you purchase a hard-to-find item. It’s probably out of stock but you won’t know that until after you’ve paid for and are expecting it. Calling in to verify the item was in-stock ahead of time was also a confusing experience for both customer and customer service it seemed, and did NOT stop this from happening!"

The worst online order process ever

"I ordered a part online on a Thursday to be delivered on Friday. Pay more for the overnight shipping than the part. Come Friday, I checked the tracking and it said it was going to be delivered on Monday. So I called Fry's where the part was shipping from and they had the part waiting for UPS. It apparently didn't get released by the corporate office in time to make the overnight on Thursday. I called UPS and they verified that there was an overnight delivery to my home on Saturday so I called Fry's to ship it to another address. I was told I had to place another order online to be shipped to another address that they couldn't change the address for me. So I placed another order which cost even more for shipping than the first time, to have it delivered on Saturday to my home. They guaranteed me that it would be overnight. I called the store back to see if they got the order and they had not. I was told by the associate that I would have to call Fry's corporate to find out where my order was. I told them no, that I'm the customer and they screwed up for them to call. So 1 hour later the corporate office called me to verify information before they would release the order. In the meantime, UPS had already picked up at the store. Then the store called me back to let me know that they have contacted UPS to come back for an overnight package. So, there I was waiting for 8:00am to arrive on Saturday so I could get my package and go to the office to fix my computer. 9:00am rolls around and I decided to check the tracking only to find that the package was not due to be delivered until Monday morning 8:00am. My business had to be closed for the weekend which caused lost sales. I did finally get the part Monday morning but I will never buy from FRYS again do to the poor customer service. And they didn't even offer to refund the overnight fees nor did they call me on Saturday (they had my cell #) to see if the package arrived. Or to that fact didn't even call Monday to see if everything turned out alright."
