"Fry's website list items as in stock but are actually all out."
"I had to shop at another store. I ordered through y’all and a store in Austin called and said they didn’t have the item. I didn’t order at a store in Austin. I ordered through a store in Houston. Horrible service "
"Very unsatisfactory buying experience. Unable to make the purchase of six different soundbars. I confirmed the soundbar was in stock with each individual store prior to the online purchase. I received confirmation of the purchase from Fry's for each order; followed by a call or e-mail advising the soundbar was out of stock. Four of the soundbars remained in Fry's online inventory for over a week. I called two stores again to confirm that they had the soundbar in stock. Twice the stores confirmed inventory and advised they would hold the soundbar for me if I would order it quickly. I reordered the soundbar while still on the call and provided the order number. Received confirmation of the purchase. Received e-mail stating no inventory. Purchased soundbar from Amazon."
"Bought a CPU from fry's for a motherboard. Bought the wrong chip. My fault. Fry's is trying to find me a motherboard to match the chip. Still in progress as I sent them the wrong data."
"Phone came on time but phone box was damaged. Contents of phone ok."
"Website shows items were in stock, but once ordered, the orders were cancelled for being out of stock"
"Ordered an MP3 player, paid and waited.
Item turned out to be out of stock.
Must say the automatic refund did work well."
"Very happy with my recent purchase. Received right on time at a great price."
"Cancelled my order 3 times after confirming my order was ok. I tried calling the store which had my item but I was either put on hold for too long or kept being transferred to people who don't know"
"Waited over a week stuck with a shipment in route. 10 days after I placed my order I got a cancellation email"
"They did not honor the sale and cancel the order. "
"We purchased two speakers on line. The order went to a store (the "store closest to our address with inventory"). That store did not have the speakers, so simply canceled the order. They did not change their inventory status, so they still showed having two speakers in stock. We tried ordering again. It again went to the "closest store", who again, simply canceled it. We called customer service, who called the store to have them update their inventory. We waited a day, after they zeroed their inventory, and ordered a third time. The person in customer service assured us it would come from a second store. Somehow, the order went back to the first store, as their inventory again showed stock, and they canceled it again. Fourth time, we worked with their customer service. (She was exceptionally diligent in helping us, but it still was a mess.) She tried to break the order into two individual purchases, to get around the first store. She called several locations that showed inventory of a single speaker. One had a defective unit, but still showed it good in inventory. Two had demo models, but showed them as good/new. One store had two, one new and one open box. After 4 phone calls lasting between 15 and 45 minutes each, she was able to get a store to confirm they actually had two speakers, and we agreed to proceed buying them directly from the store instead of through Frys.com. It took a total of 23 days from the first order until the final order was confirmed. "
"Frys.com canceled two orders back to back with NO notice. No call, no email.
Worst online customer service, no help. Its like there is a bunch of idiots working in their call center. Probably where they stick all of their worst customer service reps when they are too dumb to work in the actual stores."
"Ordered computer on line and it was not in stock when they tried to pick and fill it. They offered no suggestions for comparable options in stock. Also ordered a monitor at the same time that was in stock and that got cancelled with my other separate order. It seems I will need to find some other company that wants my $1500. "
"Clown show over there at fry’s. Totally unprofessional, feels like some sort of black market transaction."
