Need to improve website

"I placed a Christmas order on line for a Xbox Elite controller and the day I was suppose to receive my order I received an email saying I was going to be refunded because it was out of stock. I’m thinking clearly if stock was low it went to an employee or they cancelled my order because Iteams was at a discounted price "

One of the reasons places like Frys are no longer relevant

"Ordered 2 of an item. Cust Service emailed me indicating 1 item had damaged packaging and wanted to know if I wanted it. I replied. Didn't receive a response back. A week or two later I receive an email indicating that my Order (now listed as a store pickup) was cancelled. I responded to the cancellation email. No response. I then called the Cust Service # on the email. It took ~30 minutes and 2 people to help. All the person could offer was to honor the original price. Which is what I would expect. But I had to place the order again and they would discount it to teh sale price. I asked if they could discount it further because the item was damaged and/or blemished. He offered %5. For all my trouble a measly $1 discount. Thanks. I decided not to place the order with Frys.
To be fair the 2nd person was helpful as much he could be (which seemed limited). The 1st person had trouble finding my order and took a while to track it. They were both professional

YOU ALWAYS GET SCREWED IN THE DRIVE THRU

"During the week of Black Friday I ordered a special deal laptop. I put it in my cart, went through the checkout process and had confirmation of my order. Shortly thereafter I received an email with tracking information, and an ETA of 12/3, the Monday after Black Friday. As I monitored the tracking on 12/3 it showed that the package had never moved from the store. I went to my email to see if there was another notice...there was nothing. So, I then checked, on a whim, my junk mail folder...therein I found a generated email (that any spam filter would classify suspicious) saying that the transaction was cancelled. This was sent at 11:00 p.m. the same day I ordered the laptop (I ordered the laptop at 9:00 a.m.). Needless to say, I was livid. It was past Black Friday, so the sales were all through. I called the service center and was told that the laptop was never available, and that the store's inventory must have been off. IT WAS AN OPEN BOX ITEM!! I asked why I never got a phone call, but instead some generated email that went directly to my junk folder -- NEARLY 12 HOURS AFTER I MADE THE PURCHASE -- making it impossible to get any other Black Friday deals. The CSR told me he didn't know why I didn't get a call (he didn't know much). I asked if Fry's would be able to offer me the same deal on another comparable laptop, he very promptly told me that there was nothing they could do for me. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!"

not what I had expected

"I was told on the phone that the item I bought was a store display, this is not true after receiving the item in the mail I opened it at it was a customer returned, it was missing a lot more then just the power/speaker harness like I was told, it was also missing all mounting brackets/hardware the filler ring that goes around the face of the unit, along with the remote and GPS antenna, and instruction manual, I do not know if the unit was returnable being a clearance item, I be leave I should sense both sales reps I spoke with told me the same thing (the item was a display unit .

even after all this I will keep the item even though I had to spend another $50.00 on the antenna and harness. After all the unit works.

bad experience

"First I ordered for pick up and it said they had the product. Then they called and said had to cx the order because they didnt have it even though computer said they did. So I ordered from on line for home delivery. I got an email from UPS stating delivery to be 12/2 but package never even went to ups. I called again and they said oh they cx that order as they were out but no one took the time to email, call or text to say they cx the order that we were waiting for. Very bad way to do business!!"

Is Fry's still even a viable business??? Terrible serive

"Tried to order from the website probably 12 times. Each time my order was cancelled due to "no stock". However, Fry's did have stock at some stores but their online inventory system is garbage. For example, when something is ordered online the website looks at individual store inventory and sends your purchase request to that specific store only. IF that store doesnt have stock instead of sending your order to another store to be fulfilled they will simply cancel your order and not correct the inventory issue in their system...What a joke.

A disasterous experience...

"Shortly after placing my order I received a phone call from Frys, to inform me that the product being shipped was open box - not as described - & that the product was brand new - Again, not as described (The description was "refurbished")... When the product arrived, it was quite poorly packed, in a properly labeled refurbished, but opened box - the label stated the proper description of the product, BUT I was unable to get the touch screen to function, I discovered the device had a 320gig mechanical HD rather than a 125gig SSD, AND rather than having WIN-10-Pro, had an unregistered copy of WIN-10-Home... There was NO "Genuine Windows" sticker on the machine, nor was I able to find any information describing the model of the device to verify that the device was Indeed what was promised...

I phoned Fry's the day that the product arrived to ask what could be done to correct the situation - I was told that the product online description was incorrect, which seems odd, since satisfied customers were quoted on the listing claiming the device was as described with SSD & WIN-10-Pro...

I was told that a return label would be sent to me - I was asked for my E-Mail address so that a confirmation could be sent... 2 days later, after hearing/receiving nothing, I drove about an hour to the nearest store to me to return the device & get a refund... I have STILL Not received any E-Mail...
