"I have see in number of cased where Fry's advertise something and they don't keep it to it. I guess they just want to appear top in the google search but never want to deliver to keep the customer. Very disappointed on them. "
"I ordered a Lenovo T420 laptop for $187. I received a call from someone at a store letting me know that there were some cosmetic issues with the laptop. They confirmed that I still wanted it and indicated that they would be shipping it. The next contact from Fry’s was an email indicating that my order was cancelled because the item was no longer in stock. There was no offer of a replacement for what was going to be a Christmas gift for my son."

"Took me a while to find someone to help me out when I finally did I was just directed to the area wasn’t walked with to see if I have any other question regarding the product. When I go to pay for the product I was helped quickly which was amazing. But I had to make a return because I realized the size I got wasn’t long enough. I then go back and the cashier seemed like she was struggling to do the return and her manager which I can only assume it was didn’t even bother to try to help her or anything. The return took longer then my whole visit. Overall Fry’s needs to hire people that actually care about their jobs you can really tell the difference between people who care and people who don’t.

"I had a gift card worth $341 to spend on any product that I could find still existing on the shelves. I worked with this interface being directed to all the stores in the country. I was still not able to find any product of interest for me. One thing I did learn, this site showed me the vast array of products Fry's Electronics has available. Fry's Electronics was my go to store for electronic computer parts and computer purchases. Car audio was another area where I spent much time. Home audio systems, speakers, I purchase my Bose home theater system there. Including two large flat screen televisions on one trip alone. I used the Home Theater Personnel to come to my home and set up my systems.
I am going to focus my words to the online portal. I found a site where I virtually could order more merchandise than I imagined. I realized that Fry's Electronics could fulfill all of my needs for electronic components. The only store in the state of AZ. that sold de-humidifiers. A must have for my home in the mountains built into the side of a mountain. I had no leaks into my summer cabin, but in the spring, humidity was high. My system dehumidifier ran to a floor drain. No humidity, no mold. I purchased 3 of those units. I have one with me although I sold the cabin. My rental had a supply leak. How many tenants have a dehumidifier in their garage. My tenant was thrilled."
"I placed my order which my credit card got charged, got an order #, got a UPS tracking number and everything then about 4 hours later I get an email from someone who tells me they don't have anymore. Had they told me it was out of stock from the get go I could of went to the store locally before work and bought it. I can not rely on a system who sells online and has no idea what they keep in stock. "
"Fry's sends an email informing me, "The Item is no longer in stock" AFTER I purchased and received the confirmation email. What a waste of time! Spending time browsing their site and inputting my personal information and credit card information. And no apology mentioned either.
Most websites inform you that the item is out of stock during your selection, so a customer won't have to waste time filling out all the information to make the purchase. Sending a separate email minutes later after receiving confirmation number is a horrible business model. I will never shop at Fry's."

"I would give it zero stars if I could. I purchased an item online to be shipped to me. The order went through just fine. I received an email and a phone call to confirm the order the next day which I did. The girl I confirmed with said the order would ship out that day. Not even an hour later I received an email that my order was cancelled. I called and spoke to two people who said they couldn’t do anything about it. I kept checking availability of my item and this particular store still had the item in stock but only for pickup now. #1 my order should have processed since it went through and was confirmed. #2 because my order went through and they cancelled it they should have honored at the very least a rain check. #3 the next week all stores were restocked but not at the sale price. Hmmmm, makes me think that they had the item but didn’t want to sell it at their sale price even though my online order processed! I am very disappointed with Fry’s. Wish I could get corporate to call me on this to remedy. "
