I did phone the company first to make sure I could have them delivered to a US address and still pay with my Canadian billing address. (some companies won't allow this.) "I did my homework before buying the fullspectrum light therapy lamp. I am so pleased with it that in time I will be ordering the sunrise lamp too. I live in the Northeast where most of us just don't get that sunlight that we need in the winter months. You start to feel a bit sluggish if not a bit moody. I was happy to find out though, that this light seems to be helping me sleep soundly through the night. I've been told it's because it's re-setting my circadian rythm. Even though I had read some reviews that said it was helping others with this problem, I thought that because I am in my 50s and going through hormonal fluctuations, it probably wouldn't help me with that. But I'm feeling a bit more optimistic and I'm sleeping so much better. Every day when I apply my make up, I keep the lamp off to my side about 16 inches away, sit there for about a half hour, sometimes a little longer, and I just let the lamp do it's work. I'm amazed at how much brighter it is than any other light in our house. I thought my OTT light was possibly ok to use as a light therapy lamp. I was using the OTT light behind my make up mirror shining directly on my face. But when I turn the Full spectrum light off, it looks dark in here! Even with the OTT light on, so I am sold. The light in the lamp doesn't bother my eyes at all, I thought I had sensitive eyes, and that this might be too much. Not at all though. It's quite comforting. I look forward to getting the sunrise simulator. One Caveat, and its' the reason I didn't give it five stars. When I was doing my research, I could not find a link to get me to customer service by email. Naturally they want you to call so a salesperson can help you decide, but that is convenient for Full Spectrum, and NOT the consumer. I found that highly frustrating. The second issue was that when I finally did find a few email addresses, and one was for the sales department, I can't remember what the other one was for, it took them two days to get back to me. I'm a typical impatient consumer, this is not a cheap lamp, and I want service at least as good as that of the cheap lamp company who did get back to me the same day. The last thing was that when I got the lamp, I had a couple of questions, called the toll free number and the girl who answered asked me, "Oh, didn't you get the booklet that came with the lamp-because the answer to that is in there." OK< I get it, you don't feel like doing your job. Somewhere along the line, Full spectrum is dropping the ball. They did get my lamp out to me ASAP and I'm happy with that and the lamp, but it's all about customer service. And I'll drop a company and a product --no matter what they make, if they don't take good care of me. This was my first purchase to I'll give them another chance, but I hope they read these reviews and re think the customer service aspect."
