"This lamp was a Christmas gift for adult children. I won't see the lamp until spring. I'm a Michigan snowbird, trading snow to warmer temperatures in Florida. I chose the brushed nickel though it cost more than that others because that is the decor in their house. I was actually more interested in the light output than the style and it was very hard to choose. My daughter sews a lot so needed a lamp that was appropriate. They said the lamp is beautiful and light is bright, so I think they are pleased with my choice"
