The manufacturer had never heard of this company and advised I contact my credit card company to void any payments. Tried calling them direct to discuss and on one answers the phone, only voice mail. "Terrible. Ordered a GPS, they canceled my order claiming incorrect pricing, even after payment had been sent and received by them, and support never replied to my inquiry. The order was time sensitive and this was explained to them. They didn't seem to care given the lack of response. Stay away.
I did get a refund promptly, but their mistake made me scramble to find another GPS in time for a trip."
"I ordered a sensor in May, 2017 the product finally arrived in June, 2018. The delayed delivery prevented me from examining or installing the product until August. Finding the documentation inadequate and the product sub-standard I contacted GPS4us for assistance contacting the non-responsive manufacturer or return of the product. My request was met with intransigence, refusal, and frankly rude responses. Claims of inability to assess the condition of a returned product flies in the face of their About Us webpage touting their expertise."
"I ordered a refurbished Garmin Virb Elite and a memory card. I received the Virb but no card. They cla they have a security video proving they included it in the box. They flip flop their story and twist around the facts. They call customers liars and crooks. Their NOT a good company to deal with! Buyer beware of GPS4US. "I ordered a Minn Kota Riptide Ulterra trolling motor with ipilot from GPS4US on 12/29/16 for $1,862.95. They said this model was in stock at the time I ordered it and the above amount was charged to my Paypal account. Five days later I received an email from GPS4US saying that "by the time you placed this order Minn Kota had discontinued this model and we can no longer order it from them". They offered me another more expensive model at a $100 discount for the inconvenience, but I declined and asked for a refund. It took two weeks but I finally received my refund. But if this were a reputable merchant they shouldn't have charged me in the first place if they didn't have the model in stock that I ordered. Also, they lied about the model being discontinued because I contacted Minn Kota and verified that it was still in production. Don't waste your time and money with this dishonest merchant!"
"I bought a Garmin Dakota 20 for a 2 week trip to Western Canada and received the unit on June 18th. I tried it out in my backyard a few time amounting to maybe a couple of hours tops. On June 24th I flew to Calgary and the first time I used it on June 27th the screen froze, I did NOT lock the screen. On July 10th I returned home to the United States and contacted GPS4US on July 13th about exchanging for a working unit as soon as possible because I will be leaving on August 2nd for another trip. GPS4US informed me that I will have to send it to Garmin for exchange and it will take Garmin 10 to 14 days to process my request.
Be aware that GPS4US has removed the negative 1 star review I wrote for my Dakota 20 GPS, to me that is a very unethical business practice. I wonder how many other negative reviews have been deleted. "
"I recently ordered an item from them, the item was listed like it was in stock. No one emailed me after the paypal purchase to let me know the status. I waited 10 days and finally asked for the order to be cancelled if the item was not available, they complied but how long would they have gone if I wouldn't have sent the message. Hands off to companies that don't charge your account till the items actually are on hand and ship!"
"I WAITED 8 DAYS AFTER MY ORDER WAS PAID IN FULL AND STILL WASN'T SHIPPED. THEY WOULDN'T ANSWER MY EMAILS. I WAITED OVER 45 MIN ON CHAT LINE. THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T GET IN TOUCH WITH DISTRIBUTOR. "I ordered a Garmin Rino charger and battery pack. PGS4US.com showed that the products were in stock. The same day I placed the order I received an email that said the order was scheduled for delivery and that the expected delivery time would be 3-5 days. My credit card was then charged for the amount of the order. So far so good.
After 10 days the products weren't delivered and the USPS tracking number still said, "Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS." I know 10 days is not that long for a product to be shipped, however, the expectation was set by GPS4US.com, not me.
I called and sent an email inquiring about the order. A day later I received an email from GPS4US.com that they "just received a word from our supplier that chargers are in stock and available for immediate shipping, but battery packs are on a back order till October 7th." If the charges are available for immediate shipping then why hasn't it been shipped?
The issues I have is first, if you don't have the products on hand or readily available to be shipped, then don't show them as in stock. Second, don't charge my credit card until the products are actually shipped.
