"I'm going to give this information to you straight only because I work and love the Galleria. I would very much like the district manager to contact me to discuss my experience as a customer here at this location.
I also work in the Galleria as a Manager and was off on duty. I came to purchase a ps3 component av cable on 2/15/2012 Assoc. 319902 Jeremy sold me an opened package and told me if it doesn't connect to my ps3 I can refund or exchange the item. I went home tried it out it didn't connect. I am a Serious GAMER I never refund I just want the right cord!
On 2/17/2012 I returned (only two days later) to get the right cord. I went straight to the manager 312852 Michael, took him to the (SIDE) far away from the register, out of ear range and explained I had the wrong cord . Before Michael could have a say so or comment Assoc. 319902 Jeremy interrupted in the most Rude and Abusive way that still have me tearful!
From Experience a temporary fit of bad behavior is often excusable, but when one person's actions start to disrupt the working environment its time to nip that bad behavior in the bud!
319902 Jeremy's attitude was full of demeaning, bullying, offensive, vulgar treatment just for the hell of abusing the customer just to make a sale. He claimed he never sold an item to me open. I'm appalled at this behavior that will never be a forgotten experience as a manager off duty.
While I was speaking to Assoc. 312852 Michael it seemed he couldn't handle the aggressive nature of the racist employee, which brings concerns on the Management Training for Michael.
I kept asking Michael to please tell him to quit communicating with me especially if none of my communication was directed towards Jeremy and that this behavior is harassment and I deserve a genuine apology.
Jeremy went out of his way to over-authorized a matter that should've been left between a customer and a manager.
This let me know I am dealing with someone (Jeremy) who intentionally showed he has no self-control, self-censorship, compassion, empathy or professionalism.
I am making you aware that I find their behavior to be rude and hostile , I'm glad I'm not a rude or hostile person because if I was to match the intensity Jeremy negatively provided it would have ended embarrassing for all of us. I am a sweet natured Manager but this situation had me tearful and leaving out of your store feeling belittled and deeply saddened/disturbed by Jeremy's covered up scandal, to harass or pester persistently.
This is weighing heavily on my heart. I am Muslim Lebanese an English Graduate and for this young man to repeatedly made insults; called me black and other salty statements were utterly disgusting.

"Very unprofessional. Even fulfilling a pre-order was difficult. What happened? Back in June reserved Gears 3 with retro lancer and they could not fulfill the retro lancer because they blamed united states customs for not letting it pass through customs. Gamestop.com are incometent to correctly fulfill orders accurately. I could have easily made this pre-order in store but they suckered me into a $20 off the lancer price when pre-ordered with the game. Big hustlers. Order from Amazon.com not gamestop.com for games. Amazon.com is more cometent with order fulfillment."
"total crap!i ordered a used xbox 360 from them, i got it a week and a half later after paying for overnight shipping. As soon as it got here, i found out that it did not even read any games. a day later, RROD. I returned it and 2 weeks later, i have yet to receive a replacement xbox 360. i call them to figure out whats going on and they say it just arrived today. i get a bunch of crap from the customer service representative about my refund...NEVER USE GAMESTOP. "This shop cheats when it comes to handling costs. It deliberately calculates handling costs which are too low. You have to pay for the remaining cost on delivery. In my case I ordered a 38 dollar item with 25 dollar handling cost. On delivery I had to pay an extra 62 dollar to UPS as extra costs. This cannot be import tax as that is at max 7.60 dollar (20%). So I suspect UPS and GameStop have a deal where GameStop advertises low handling costs and UPS collects the remainder. So GameStop get its goods sold and UPS get things to transport at ridiculous high prices.

"I ordered a DS game. When it arrived it looked suspiciously like it was fake. Before wrapping it up, I decided to try it out. Surprise surprise it didnt work. When I contacted them, it turns out they are based in Bangkok and wanted me to return the item before they would give me my money back. After other emails I sent to them, they stopped replying. Luckily I paid by Paypal and they have insisted that I get my refund, but I have had to spend £7.02 returning the item before they would grant the refund. Please be aware and dont buy anything. I am trying to find out how I can stop Google from giving their details out so that others can be warned."
"Moved to a new address and Gamestop's website continually gives an error message that they can't process the order based on the billing information. Everything is accurate and other merchants have no issues with this address. Just gamestop.
Called in and the CSR said there was nothing they could do. "Go buy in store". Whats the point of selling items on the site then! Taking my business elsewhere since noone at gamestop knows or cares why this address is giving the error message on their site.
Also, be aware the pricing of thier items are different on the site and in stores and many more promo codes work online only.

This is the only store that opens new shrink-wrapped games, puts the cases on the shelves with their price stickers stuck all over the case, then sells that exact game to you as new. It's not isolated to 1 store, MANY of the local stores do this as "policy" according to their employees. When I stated I needed a new shrink-wrapped game since I was buying as a gift, and not one that's been on display being sold as new the employee offered to take the game to the backroom and shrink-wrap it up again so it looks new.
How is this even legal?! I tried 3 local stores and they all made the same offer when they couldn't find a completely new shrink-wrapped game behind their registers.
If the shrink-wrap is off the game, it's no longer NEW and should be sold as USED even if gamestop was the store that removed the shrink wrap to display the game. "
"I ordered my husband a wii for Christmas on December 2nd from the website. Ten days later, I had still yet to see the money charged from my account or an email confirmation that the Wii had been shipped. I checked the order status online with the order confirmation I had received. The order was still listed as open. I called to investigate, but was directed to a message that stated, " due to the volume of calls, we are unable to take any calls at this time." And it hung up on me. I finally sent an email, as a last resort. The response came two days later to tell me that the order had been cancelled. Apparently they sent me an email on the December 3rd-- the day after I ordered it, to confirm my information but never received a response. "I am disappointed in this company. I bought a DS3 bundle package from them for $199 via their website. 2 days later, the same item went on sale for $20 cheaper. I called to see if they could credit me the $20 savings since it was only 2 days later. (I haven't even received the item via UPS yet!). They were unwilling to make any sort of adjustment. Now I have to order another one at the sale price, and return the other item that is currently in transit to me! Also, their customer service is horrible. I had to wait on the phone for over 4 hours before someone picked up the phone only to tell me they would not help me. Stay away! Buy anywhere but here."

"Biggest rip offs around. Ebay is 35-50% cheaper. GameStop is seriously selling NHL11 which came out September 2010 for $28 used. On their site it says WWE12 brand new $49.99 but when I call their store it is $59. Everything there is over priced. Saved a ton on ebay and it was well worth the aggrevation!"

Very disappointed. Like many of the previous customers, I ordered a PS3 controller on Black Friday special and was canceled. I just found out 2 days ago that my order was canceled.GameStop claimed it was a price mistake. Their customer service suck i had to me more than 50 min on hold on the phone to speak at somebody at customer service and all i heard was sorry !!! Today i filed an complaint with the BBB i think you guys should do the same thing because this is not fair at all !!!! "I ordered 12 games for the used game Pre-Black Friday deal where you got one used game for free when you bought two used games. I assumed all the games would be complete and in at least very good condition if not like new. I received the games in a reasonable amount of time. However, I was totally disappointed! Only two games came w/ the original case and instruction booklets. Most of the games had a replacement case w/ no original cover art. Many of the games had very visible scratches. Thank goodness I was able to return the crappy ass assortment at my local Gamestop store. I'll never shop online with them again."
