"Purchased a Turbo Gamer Blue Aluminum case with side window with no hassles. Ordered 13Nov02, shipped 14Nov02, and received 19Nov02. I was very satisfied with doing business with this company. I will definitely do business with them again."
"I ordered a KD7-RAID motherboard on 10/22/2002. Item was shipped on 10/25 and arrived 10/31. I chose the free Airborne shipping option and was not concerned about speed. However the item was well packed and item was in perfect working order. I would consider ordering from this company again in the future."
"Placed order on November 2, website said Aopen G4 TI 4600 card was in stock, order was processed a few days later and then a day later I received notice card was not in stock and it would be shipped next Friday, web site was updated and showed even more in stock than before - they were misleading customers and still taking orders, obviously. When I wrote them asking why the web site said they still had this in stock they notified me it was out of stock all they replied back with was “Sorry out of stock no estimate arrival”. Now I was worried it was not going to ship “next Friday” as they had previously stated… Well, the item did ship “next Friday” as they had stated, so that was good. But a little concerned over how they mislead customers to purchase an item that was not in stock. I won’t buy the typo on the web site bit as they were actively updating the in stock numbers all along, while I was waiting for my card to ship.
When I received the card it was the retail version complete with included cables (from the manufacturer) and full versions of included software (which I could care less about though). Card was in retail box but could have used more protection as it was just the retail box stuck inside a Federal Express box, which was somewhat smashed when I got it but thankfully the card is not damaged and is working perfectly – I don’t want to go thru an RMA nightmare with gameve.com after the in stock ordeal!!!
I will probably avoid GameVE.com unless their price beats any other competitor by greater than $25 – I would rather pay a little extra and have better service and communication than what I received from Gameve – but if the price is absolutely the very best I’d apprehensively order from them again, as it took over 2 weeks to receive a video card that I had expected to have within 3 or 4 days.

"I would just like to say that after having read ALL of the comments regarding this company I was a bit skeptical about ordering...but I was intrigued with GameVE's offer of a specific revision and stepping for the AMD XP1600+ processor, namely an AGOIA core with the "Y" stepping. Those of you familiar with overclocking know that this combination equates to the performance of an XP2200+ (or better) given the right mobo, cooling, tweaks, etc...and for less than half the price. Well I decided to give GameVE and Lawrence Lu a chance since there are very few companies that cater to the overclocker by offering specific revisions/steppings and because I felt (after having spoke with Lawrence on the phone) that there were some inhouse changes taking place to better accomodate their growing customer base. Feeling confident with that, I decided to place my online order for an AGOIA "Y" week 12 processor. The arrival was right on schedule, but to my shock and utter disbelief I received a week 4 "K" stepping instead. This was not acceptable at all...so I immediately contacted Lawrence about the situation and was told there had been a tray mixup while filling orders, but not to worry because things would be taken care of ASAP. At first I wasn't sure whether to believe him or not...but he was a man of his word and resolved the problem immediately. In fact he made the extra effort in gettng me the best overclocking AGOIA "Y" made (a week 13 and not as easy to find). I was ecstatic and truly amazed by the lengths Lawrence/GameVE was going to in order to rectify the situation. In the end I received more than I had hoped for, along with a reduced price of $59 for the time taken to make everything right.
This company is very well managed and I would not hesitate to order from GameVE again. The support they give to their customers is the one of the best...and in terms of personal interaction both during and after the sale, I have found no one to better their service.
I wish to thank Lawrence and Cole for a job well done."
"Ordered late Thursday evening, best price I could find and pretty solid resellerratings. Order was easy to place, good site layout.. Paid for rush processing and fedex 3 day delivery. Got email monday morning with tracking number, arrived around noon same day! Very positive experience.
BTW I bought the Abit AT7 Max2 Motherboard. It DID come with the I/O back panel unlike the product being offered on other sites and take NOTE the PCB color on these boards has changed from the black/brown to the Yellow PCB. Simply customer feedback according to Abit Forums.."
"I ordered an XP 1600+ AGOIA 0212 Y stepping from GameVE.com, but when the CPU arrived, I had actually received an 0206 9 stepping. I promptly contacted GameVE and they called back the next day. They agreed to cross ship me an equivalent or better CPU and reimbursed me $5 for shipping back the other CPU. A few days later, I received an 0226 Z stepping. Just one little mishap, but otherwise I am very happy with my purchase. Their prices are very good and I will likely do business with them again."
"I bought a video card from them at a great price, and it got to me in the advertised time, but it cause my computer to lock up. I sent it back for exchange, and a week later, I got another one, but it also caused by system to lock up, but seemed to make the problems worse... I send an RMA request, and they deny it because "its after 30 days of origional invoice"... what a load.. At this point it looks like am am going to be stuck with a $155 video card that doesnt work.. I would also like to point out that their shipping methods are very bad, just a box with a few packing penuts on either sid, nothing to protect the top or bottom, with are the biggest sides of the box. I will never buy from them again, and if you dont want to get burned, you shouldnt either.. dont be tricked by their great prices."
"Ordered one of there AmdXP1600+ "AGOIA Z 0226" core processors. Item arrived as advertised. Overclocks well as advertised also. Very courteous and helpful on the telephone also. Very reasonable shipping prices overall. I'm already recommending them to all my friends. "
"round 1
Purchased a video card and the card was damaged when recieved. (Parts floating around off the card)
Had to RMA the item and ship it back at my expense. They recieved the package and signed for it. The day after that I sent them an email asking about it, no response. Then I called a day after that (today) They said we didnt get it. After I told him that it was signed for he said well then it must be in our warehouse. I will check into it.
For sending out obviously damaged goods they arent being very fast paced on this RMA thing and they seem like they dont have a clue about anything going on. I will update this once I have new information.
2nd round
They then sent out another card which I recieved and was more damaged then the first. They still claimed fedex damaged it. Fan wasnt even attached to the board. It was loose. They had to have seen it because they specialy boxed it in a modem box and sent it. They then had me pay another 160 for another so they could send it before I sent the one I had back.
3rd round
Finaly recieved a working non broken card. Only took over a month. They still have yet to credit my account after recieving my package for 8 days. They said it will be credited friday. If it isnt I am going to contest the charges on my credit card.
Sellers comments were posted after the first round."
"Lightning fast service (though I did pay a small fee for "rush processing"). Ordered Sunday, processed Monday, received Tuesday! Products in perfect condition (a GeForce 4 Ti 4200 128MB and a SB Audigy OEM), installed without a hitch and work great. I will order from GameVE again and recommend GameVE to my family and friends."
"BUY FREE SHIPPING ITEMS SEPARATELY!
I purchased a 1600+ AGOIA processor and a Volcano 9 CPU fan from them last night. There was free shipping on the processor, but not for the fan. I figured they would have an intelligent ordering system that would account for an order with an item with free shipping and one without - but I was wrong. I was charged $7.38 for shipping, which at the time I thought was just for the fan. But today, I was struck with the random realization that their shipping costs were based on order total! Because a couple days before I ordered I had written down the shipping cost from them, and when I actually ordered, the processor was $5 cheaper and the shipping was less as well. Unfortunately I hadn't thought of it at the time (too excited about ordering I guess).
So I called them to find out if I could get the credit (which was $1.80 shipping difference). The manager gets on the phone (after the initial CSR had exhausted her english vocab), and proceeded to explain to me that the shipping also has a handling fee associated with it and that is calculated on the order total. I asked if I had purchased the processor individually would there have been a handling fee - the answer was no. So I asked why was I now charged one, and he said their system wasn't intelligent enough to discern that there was a free shipping item in the cart. I'm a web developer and I know it isn't that difficult of a thing. I'm still fairly satisfied with the experience thus far (I haven't received my order yet), but I thought others should know - BUY YOUR FREE SHIPPING ITEMS SEPARATELY!"
"I ordered an MSI KT3Ultra2 motherboard from this company on Thursday the 24th of October, after hours. They processed my order the next day and shipped it out that afternoon via FedEx Express Saver. I was a little leery about ordering this particular board because of some strange letters/designations in the model on their site that weren't mentioned on MSI's website. I asked them through the comments on their order form to inform me via e-mail about the differences - they didn't bother. Oh well.
I ordered the board anyway at $77.95, then found it later for $68.00. Whoops. There goes $10.
I received it Monday morning (today) pretty much right when I expected it. The only thing that surprised me... They put the entire contents of the MSI box into an AOpen box. Right away I thought they'd sent me the wrong board, but it turned out to be the MSI. Needless to say, I was surprised. It seems kinda ghetto for them to put my board in the box of another manufacturer, but its better than getting it with no box at all.
Overall, a decent experience. I may order from GameVE.com again if the price is right.

"Very good experience. I ordered on a teusday, payed for next day air delivery. And even though I missed that day's processing time by an hour they still processed it, and I recieved my merchandise wednesday afternoon. Very good service. And I will use them again next time I order online."
"I ordered a video card from these people (AOpen GeForce4 Ti4200) The RETAIL product arrived with the cardboard support inside the box torn, so the card was moving around inside of the box. There was no user manual as AOpen advertises there to be, and the AGP support bracket had screw marks on it (deep ones) from the PREVIOUS OWNER. Never, Never, Ever again. I will gladly pay an extra $10.00 for the peace of mind of buying from a REPUTIBLE supplier."
"gameve.com had the cheapest pricewatch.com price on a particular GeForce 4 4600 video card. Included free FedEx economy (3 day) shipping. Ordered on Monday, October 14 (a holiday), processed on Tuesday, October 15, shipped on Wednesday, October 16 from California, arrived on Friday, October 18 in Texas. Product is as advertised. I would definitely order from gameve.com again!"
