"Ordered an INSTOCK item on friday 01/09/04 at 1am in the morning (they had all day friday to process it), they didn't. I receive notification TODAY 01/20/04 that the product has shipped. We're talking about a raid card from california to arizona and it takes them 11 days to get it out the door? Don't order ANYTHING form this company if you are interested in receiving it in a timely manner. They may be cheaper by a couple bux over newegg, but it's not worth their shear stupidity in delivering a slam dunk order. I'll never order from them again, as I said, if you actually want the things you order, you should seek another vendor as well."

It is going to be the 20th of January before this computer is going to be complete and ready to leave my shop (home). Maybe receiving an email of apology would help, but otherwise I am plain disappointed."

"Ordered new Bloody Monster FX5200 PCI card. I received an "AGP" card which was opened (without any shrink wrap). The enclosed packing slip conveniently reflected that a "PCI" card was enclosed (although it was an "open" AGP card). The company TRIED to get me to pay for shipping it back to them.

If you take a look at the reviews on this site, you will notice that an awful lot of these SAME things keep happening with this seller (i.e. sending WRONG merchandise to the buyer). Also, make sure you review their Better Business Bureau report.

Needless to say, I returned the WRONG merchandise to the seller and reported this incident to my credit card company. I am also considering filing a complaint with the proper authorities since I suspect a pattern here. "

"Ordered a computer case, and it was promptly shipped... opened the box, and found a completely different case from what i ordered. The packing slip even reflected what was supposed to be there, as did the box the case was in. However, since the case I received was worth 3x as much as what I had ordered, I figured no problem, they'll be glad to FedEx me the correct case. Not so. They were unwilling to solve the problem over the phone, and asked that I call back tomorrow when more people were in the office - completely unacceptable, in my view, since I intended to have the case in my grubby little hands by that point. They could not guarantee stock for the case I had ordered (listed in stock on their website), so I told them I would simply order from another vendor and resell the case I received, most likely turning a profit. I received a non-commital response and was told I had to get off the phone so they could answer other calls. I am obviously never going to order from this company again, and even though I personally came out on top this time, in cost if not in convenience, I would strongly warn others to avoid GameVE.com at all costs."
