"The canopy replacement arrived in a timely manner and is very nice. Good fit. The only problem we had was when we were attaching the buckles to secure it on the frame one of the plastic buckles just broke. A brand new canopy and we got the "best" quality and still a buckle broke on first use. This was a surprise since the last two canopy's lasted 3 years and the buckles never broke.
We just hooked that one with the velcro. "

"The last awning I bought from Lowe’s for their particular gazebo was much thicker, stronger and waterproof. This cover from Garden Winds (which fits the Lowe’s gazebo) is not. Water drips from all the seams, and it was not a torrential rain. The fact that it costs so much more considering the thin quality is also unsettling. This product comes with instructions to spray it yourself with ScotchGuard and to add extra grommets for more security. What?! I paid more believing its ad saying how strong and reliable it is only to find out that I have to waterproof it and secure it more myself?!! Nuts!
We shall see how it holds up this summer but I’m already scared and deflated that it leaks at all seam areas. Way too costly for its quality. "
"Had to replace the canopy on our offset umbrella. The canopy was a bit pricey around $150 but the original umbrella was upwards of $300 +. The mechanism still works fine just the canopy was weathered and dry rotted. New canopy is a different material but I like it better actually. Very satisfied."
