Ordered a replacement canopy for our Garden Winds Pergola because the original was worn and frayed after only two years (but admittedly, Houston weather is pretty extreme). Ordered the best version exactly specified for the Pergola Part Number we have.

It eventually arrived, but we could not be more disappointed. The canopy was not only not quite as wide as the original, but it is almost twice as long, making it necessary to roll-up a huge amount out of fear that cutting it would fray the material.

Worse, much worse, is that the canopy is an incredible amount thinner than the original - so thin that it always looks wrinkled and, worse yet, blows up and flaps between the pergola reinforcements. It can't last long. Even though it is thinner, it is not porous like the original, so the wind grabs it like a kite, making it pull, billow and tug even more.
Should have just bought another pergola for what this junk cost

"The replacement roof I purchased ,fit ok as did the mosquito netting. My problem is that, when you purchase a replacement it should be very similar. Colour was way off but I could live with that. The material seemed like umbrellaa material. But When it rains everything gets soaked it does not stop the rain at all. I understand a weather protectant would be required to preserve the roof. But did not expect I would need it to seal it in the first place the roof is useless it was a waste of my money the cost was $ 337.64 Canadian I am so disappointed "

"The order arrived quickly. Installation was easier than I remember from the last time. Looks good!"

"The top tier was very tight and difficult to install. We had to push the snap pins in and push the metal arms all the way in till they bottomed out to get it on.
We haven't tried the canopy yet since we already took down the frame and stored it for the winter. All we can do at this point is trust it will fit just fine in the spring. Here's hoping!"

"We bought two different replacement covers that were supposed to be exact replacement, but not even close. We were told by garden winds to call manufacturer because their frame was wrong, WHAT???? Why does garden winds call it a replacement?
Original cover fell apart within the first 6 months, junk!"
