"Our initial dealings with Gatecrafters were a positive experience. They answered all of our questions regarding accessories and installation of an Apollo 3500 gate operator for our subdivision. When I ordered the operator and various accessories I spoke with a representative of Gatecrafters to be certain I ordered the correct parts. Based upon his advice we made some changes to the accessories in the package. The change was from a wireless keypad to a wired model. During installation we discovered that the wiring supplied with the package was not suited for the keypad we ordered. After contacting Gatecrafters during and after installation we were informed that because wiring had been cut from a spool, it could not be returned. While on the phone with the Gatecrafter's rep during the order process, it was he that suggested the change of keypads and I was led to believe that he knew which wiring was suitable for keypad to be included with our order. The mistake was theirs, supplying us with the incorrect wiring, and now they won't accept it for return.
** Within the hour of submitting the above review I was contacted via phone by a rep from Gatecrafters, Mr. Matt Rabb. After explaining our situation, he agreed that the mis-communication was on their end and he informed me that the cost of the incorrect part would be refunded. Thanks for your prompt reply and exceptional customer service. Wish all transactions went as smoothly as this one."
