"Beware if you try to sell a Galaxy S8 or 8+ to Gazelle. They have incorrect model numbers in their system and don't seem to realize that all versions of the phone (including carrier models) have model numbers that start SM-G955U. They claimed that my AT&T phone was an unlocked model because they think the model number is supposed to be SM-G955A. NEWSFLASH Gazelle, Samsung isn't following that convention with the S8! I wrote them and even provided a link to Samsung's website that shows the actual model numbers but they have chosen to ignore that. Gazelle wants to "adjust" their offer down $30 due to their incorrect identification of the phone. And I feel bad for anyone who buys one of these carrier locked phones that Gazelle thinks are unlocked..."

"I had a really great experience with Gazelle. My older daughter's iPad was no longer working at the capacity that she needed for middle school. So I decided to sell some older technology I had around the house and see if I could make enough to buy her a new iPad. "I paid for 2 day shipping in the early AM, but when I got the box I found they'd shipped in the late PM 4 days after my order using 3 day shipping.
They lied to me when I called on the third & fourth days asking where the package was by telling me they'd shipped it late. But their FEDEX shipping label proved they shipped the day after I called to complain.
Then they charged me for refusing delivery. F-THEM."
