"I reside in Melbourne Australia and made a purchase in late November a Mi Box S international edition on the GeekBuying website. When I noticed after 5 days it wasn't shipped out via its base in Hong Kong, I contacted them via email to assist with shipment as the item was for a Xmas Gift. After a couple of emails, the operator in question helped speed up my request and arrange the item to be mailed out. I received the goods on the 18th of December and if it wasn't for the help of the customer service team and this may have not been the case. Thank you Geekbuying for assisting in the shipment."

"I bought a SmartWatch on GeekBuying with my credit card. I was waiting for my payment to be approved for a day and then the next day I received an e-mail from their "Service Payment" team asking me to provide photos of the credit card I used and my ID with photo. I sent them pictures of my ID card and credit card with blurred confidential data (such as security code and the credit card number only leaving the last 4 digits visible as they asked). Next, I receive another e-mail from them asking me to send photos of my passport, which I did again, I sent them photos of an older passport of mine, and as expected I received another e-mail the next day soliciting newer photos.
This time, I sent pictures of ME holding the same documents I sent in previous e-mails, sent a picture of my work card which has a very recent picture of me, sent pictures of my most recent passport. And now, 11 days after my purchase and after all this hassle, they sent me an e-mail today asking to send pictures of my credit card "without cover". Why would they need confidential credit card data for? They could totally verify that the purchase was paid with that credit card looking at the pictures I provided them. I'm really dissapointed with Geekbuying overall and what looked like a great purchase does not seem that great anymore.

Another representative from GeekBuying got in touch with me via e-mail giving me a full refund and asking me to place another order. Will update this review and rating if everything goes accordingly. I am bumping up the customer service rating from 1 star to 4 stars given that they are willing to help me resolve this matter.

My order was shipped a few days ago. Shame it took a bad review to get it worked out. Bumping customer service again, now to 5 stars. I'd probably shop again at Geekbuying, of course, fearing that my order gets stuck with their payment team. Will update when my package arrives.

Another problem! Wow! My item shipped with the commercial invoice empty, no product info, no price, no seller identification, no buyer info. The result? Item is now stuck in customs and they are requesting me a document with real info (or actually any info at all), which I hope Geekbuying can provide me with. Downgrading my rating again. All this hassle is really not worth the good prices.

"Worst Chinese Resellers! I ordered Action Cameras at 8/8/2018 and tell them to send seperately. They accepted my request. But they send them all in one package and customs returned parcel to them at 16/10/2018. For more than 40 days, they refuses to refund my money and even want to cut some part of it as return costs. I bought a lot of cameras from Ali, Banggood or Gearbest, whenever customs return it, they refund my payment within the same week. BUT GEEKBUYING IS SCAM AND LIAR.
