I am sorry for the frustration. I know when I place an order I am always anxious to get my purchase. We actually have two measures in place, while you are shopping, intended to avoid this frustration. When searching a product it will state "In stock" or "Usually ships in (gives a time frame). " And then upon checking out a warning "Low stock may delay your order" which refers you to email or call us if you have any question.
The item you ordered was an "Usually ships in 7-14 days" item. We truly expected to have the item available to ship to you within that time frame. But there are times when the manufacturer is out of stock or has unexpected production delays. Once we receive an update from a manufacturer we do our best to keep our customers informed.
