"Placed order of $450.00 on 5-28-15, have not received notification of expected shipment date. This is not the first time I have o request information on a shipment from GigaParts.
Keep your customer in formed as we pay your salary.

“Hi motzbates!
The good news is that we received a shipment of your back ordered item late this afternoon. Our receiving department should have the freight checked in this evening so that we can ship to you tomorrow!

I appreciate you letting me know that you were frustrated. That allows me to explain a couple measures we have in place, on our website, to help set the right expectation to our customers.
The first measure being the item stating "In Stock" or "Usually ships in (gives time frame)" and the second one being at checkout a line stating "Low stock - this item may delay your order. Click here for more information." If you click on the click here line it would state: Low stock - this item may delay your order. This message appears when we do not have enough available inventory to ship your order right away. Normally, we will hold your order until everything is in stock. You may want to place two orders if you would like the in-stock items to ship right away.
If you create a login when you checkout, you’ll be able to view an estimated ship date after we process your order.

"I had never used GigaParts before. I liked the way the site was arranged and the information on the equipment I purchased. I asked a couple of live online questions and the young lady was knowledgeable and very nice. That goes a long way with me. I made my mind up and purchased online with PayPal late one night. I chose free shipping and was very pleasantly surprised on how quickly it arrived. UPS did an excellent job with the boxes and both were near perfect on the outside when delivered. GigaParts has a new customer with me. One that had a very pleasant experience and will return and also recommend in the future !"

"Ordered a Yaesu radio and accessories. Shipped promptly, arrived when promised. Great price.
One suggestion - the radio was shipped triple boxed; no problem there. The accessory item was shipped in the factory box - UPS damaged the box, but luckily the accessory wasn't damaged. I would suggest a shipping box for accessories -even at extra cost - to avoid damaged items.

My other suggestion is to request a signature on delivery for expensive items. UPS left my delivery on the side walk in front of my house. Fortunately I got home shortly after it arrived!
