"This makes the 3rd time i have posted regarding this company. After the first time they emailed me and apologized and had told me my order was shipped to me. Once again, i have found out today this is a lie!!! Apparently this company has no concept of what the words "shipped or delivery" means. I finally got ahold of someone regarding my order today because I was needing the tracking number because i received a email stating it was shipped to me on the 16th and i was told that it was not shipped to me yet that it would be another 7-15 days. What the crap?!?! This company seriously needs some help relating customer service! "

"Seems to be a small time operator. Phone customer support only limited to sales related issues and if you have a technical query, you need to email them. They take their own sweet time to respond, if at all. If there is any problem with the glasses, they would be hell bent on making excuses and at best offer 50% refund as per their policy. No satisfaction guarantee here.
The only reason they get business is because they are cheap. Keep in mind, you get what you pay for and it's CHEAP. Once they have your money, customer support is virtually non existent.
Had hoped for similar outstanding service like other online glass retailers. Definitely Glassesshop is nowhere close. Was a mistake to give them a chance.

"I ordered my glasses on January 31st. The website states it takes a few days for orders to be processed and then shipped. I need the glasses by the 20th of this month. After waiting a few days for the order to process, I contacted the company. It is very difficult to get a straight answer from them. All they respond is "be patient." It is obvious that either the customer service agents or the company is actually located in another country. Perhaps both. The website states that after processing, the order will be shipped out. Finally, a customer service agent told me that the order was done processing on the 6th of January. Yet, I still have not received a tracking number. Just why is this taking so long? In the past, I went with Coastal. Great prices, GREAT customer service, and FAST delivery. Orders are processed and shipped at lightning speed. I thought I would give Glasseshop a try, as I am speaking to students about health care, and affordable options for those with limited benefits. I thought I would give an informed decision on the best and cheapest way students could get glasses. At this point, I wouldn't recommend Glasseshop to my worst enemy. You hear that, Mystery Man? I wouldn't recommend this to you!"

"I received my glasses, 1/31/15 they were not what I expected. The design said "black tortoise shell & turquoise" but the tortoise shell design was barely visible and the overall effect was that the outside of the glasses appears black. I planned to return them.

Response from them was not immediate but the problem was resolved I was refunded my money promptly.

"Well I've ordered tons from them and loved the glasses in the past. I ordered a pair of plastic frames and when I received them, they weren't just bent, they were warped. I'm great with adjusting but these just weren't going to work. I sent a polite "hey I have an issue" email letting know, and instead of getting an apology and solution the email I received had no apology and asked for a picture as proof! I was shocked however went ahead and took a picture of the horrible bent frames. I also added that he lenses point inward at bottom (digging into my cheeks) and the whole frame was crooked. When u place them on a flat surface one ear piece side doesn't touch the surface, it sits about a full inch from the surface. So this time sending the picture I was confidant they would fix my problem. WRONG, they sent me an email that seriously said "were happy to tell you they can be bent back after placed in warm water, regards." Ummmmm hey guys, I know how to adjust glasses, these are warped! Too bad they couldn't just send me a dang new pair so I could have returned these! Horrid customer service! They lost a good customer."

"I placed an order on december 14th and my glasses are still under verifying status after one month.
Can't get anymore information than the same pre written mail!
Is this company out of business?
I finally received my order two weeks later. The glasse wasnt quite well fixed but i did it myself easily.
The glasses are still of very good quality at bargain price.
The service appear to be less efficient than it use to be.
At first i had a bad communication with pré written mails and phony excuse about my PD number that was lacking. I ordered 6 pairs already always with the same number.
I finally get my usual correspondant who was much more professionnal When I wrote my comment on resellerratigs
I guess glassesshop is victim of his success and is always on a rush.
If so a better communication with the customers could be the resolution.
Anyway I will order my next pair at glasseshop, this time ... .

"I purchased 2 pair of glasses. I am always skeptical about ordering things like this online, mainly because I wear progressive lenses.

The same day I submitted my order, I was contacted about a discrepancy with my PD. I told them to hold off to see if I could contact my doctor. They did...and I did. I let them know and the processed the order. I figured it would easily add a week to my order (due the the December holidays). I received my order in just over a week. The glasses are great and I will order from them again.

"Almost didn't order after reading negative reviews online, but I liked their selection of frames, the easy to use website with the "try on" your photo feature & they had a first time buyer special. Glad I did. Had to call customer service once & immediately got a live, courteous operator. There was a delay in processing because I miss typed my email address. Once that was straightened out it was 3 weeks for delivery (before Christmas), but my daughter waited 10 days to get her glasses from a local optician & paid 3 X more. Glasses came in a sturdy case, the frames look good quality & prescription is fine. I probably should have gotten the bifocal feature but that was my choice, not their fault. For style selection & cost, I would definitely order again."

"I placed an Order on November 11th and my package was 'delivered' Nov 21. I say 'delivered' because I never received it and on the tracking page it shows a completely different zip code than what I put as my address. Contacted the site and they told me it was delivered Nov 11th (the day I ordered ) which makes no sense and told me I had to provide proof from the post office that it was lost even though on the USPS website it clearly shows it was not delivered to my zip code. Very Frustrating, please do not buy from here they aren't even accredited by the Better Business Bureau and there are a bunch of cases against them. Save yourself the headache, there are many alternatives out there. "

"I placed my order 2, almost 3, weeks ago and have yet to get anything. Called customer service and i got the voice mail but a lady called me back and said i should get them in 6 days, they're still not shipped out. Worst online company I've dealt with. "A very bad experience with them. I waited one month to get finally a wrong prescription eyglasses because likely they didn't tell me they couldn't process my left eye parameters but they tried to sell it anyway. So I had to give it back cause useless and pay for the return shipping. One star is quite enough."

"i received my eyeglasses over a month after i placed my order. Its been four days now and already the anti-reflective coating is starting to degrade (tiny green spots all over both lenses). so much for shopping there, i expected maybe after 6 months i would see some degradation but after only 4 days its, not worth the low price and very long wait. Very disappointed- i also couldn't get through to a customer service rep.. went straight the answering machine , i tried four times today( weekday no less)."

"I ordered 2 pairs of glasses on oct 7th and still have not gotten anything.... I used my tracking number to track where my package is and its still in the processing center in china ...... it says it got there oct 22nd and hasnt changed at all.. when I call the costumer service number during business hours I get a voicemail.... after seeing all the bad reviews, I regret ordering from here and should have done my research..... who knows when I will ever get my glasses ! I dont have a lot of money and looks like I wasted 43 bucks so far...."

"This was my first time ordering from GlassesShop so the pair I ordered were 'free' (still ended costing more than $10 due to additions (the coatings) along with shipping. I wanted to use the glasses I received as a test as to whether or not I'd purchase more from glasses from them.

I placed my order on October 5th. I contacted customer service about shipping and was told I'd be emailed within 48 hours once it was shipped. They never sent me an email. So I went onto the site and found shipping information there. The glasses were sent out October 17th and I got them November 1st. The prescription was correct. The frames fit my face. There are visible errors to the way the lenses fit within the frame. You can actually see the inner edges of each lens from the outside if you're looking at me straight on. The lenses look like they were jammed into the frame and forced to fit. The frames are flimsy. The job seemed a bit rushed/messy. I honestly would have been willing to wait longer for better quality and a more thorough job. While glassesshop.com was relatively inexpensive and cheaper than other merchants, I'll just pay more and never bother with this company again.

The quality and price are the same - low. I guess because they were 'free', the company didn't care too much about them. I'm only keeping them to wear around the house and to have something to hold me over until I'm able to order new ones somewhere else.
