I took some time to price shop, and no one came close to the great deal offered to me as a first time buyer at GlassesUSA! The website is very user friendly and it was a breeze to upload my prescription. However - the system did crash when i clicked the buttom to finalize the order and enter my payment information, which was frustrating. "Placed an order in December 2023 using a gift certificate. Didn't like the style on my face and returned, after being asked 10 times on the website, 2 via email and 1 phone call if I was sure I wanted to return - annoying.
Go to make a recent purchase and my gift card no longer works. After speaking with a few people whose hands were tied to help me, I find out that a NEW gift card number needs to be reissued after a return and they won't do that unless you request it. Takes 24-48 hours for the returns department (who cannot talk on the phone for unknown reasons) so any deals of the day are lost while you await your new certificate number.
Maybe it's just me, but with such a poor experience with the website and customer service team, that I cannot in good faith recommend this company to anyone else."
