"Worst online shopping experience ever. Phone was dirty, password protected, still attached to former owner Apple ID, AND broken! There's no phone customer service, and no response by email from customer service. Will never ever buy here again. "
"My daughter got her phone from Glyde and had a good experience. So I asked her to find me a phone too. After watching for awhile she found a good deal on an iPhone 6. It was going to be delivered fairly quickly, so i ran to buy a case and tempered glass screen protector. I kept checking the mailbox and just now get a message that Glyde cancelled my order. The person selling the phone did not deliver the phone so there is nothing to sell. I am supposed to get a credit; have not checked if that has actually occurred yet. What a disappointment! I highly DO NOT recommend Glyde. Buyer beware!"
"I ordered my phone 10 days ago. It still hasn't been shipped. I keep sending Glyde emails asking to cancel the order. They said they won't cancel the order for another three days. I wish I had never tried to do business with them."
"placed and order for a phone, I got the order confirmation, and my credit card was charged and I thought all good, till I received an email from them saying that "Your Account is On-Hold"! Contacted them, back and forth back and forth, till they finally sent me a set of questions to answer. A few days after I answered them I was asked to relogin and place the order again! At this point, I have given up and bought the phone from somewhere else.
HERE IS THE WORST PART.. 3 weeks later, I found 3 different charges on my credit card for no reason whatsoever, total charges amounted to about US$1,000 and thankfully were marked by my CC as "fraud" .. I of course asked the CC company to block my card right away and send me another one overnight.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE, I would NEVER even think of goings with these crooks again."
"I sold one phone on Glyde and the sale went smoothly. I don't have any complaints about the process, except for their weird policy where they don't let you describe any damage. I think this is disingenuous at best and a total scam at worst. Anyway, since the first sale went smoothly, I went to sell another iPhone. Their website says that if you sell at or below market value, your iPhone should sell in a week. Mine was sitting around, not even listed on their page, for two weeks before selling even though it was priced below market value. Customer service told me it was due to their weird algorithm where they only have one phone of each kind listed and they choose whose to post through a variety of methods. It is clear they prioritize first time sellers over anyone else. "
"I sold an iPod Touch 5th generation. I opted to go only a little below the Glyde market price because I didn't want to be greedy and wanted to help expedite the process. I had a sale in @ 5 days. I followed all the wipe instructions. The box arrived as expected and I shipped within 24 hours to the buyer. The day after the buyer received the device the money was in my account. I did take another reviewer's advice and I took several pictures of my device before sending to the buyer just in case it would be rejected and returned to me damaged in any way but it wasn't needed. I did include my charger in the sale. "
"Worst experience buying a used phone from these people. Sold me a damaged phone and we didn't figure it out till it stopped working a month after we bought it. Took it in to UFix it store and they took apart. Said looks like a jimmy rig job to get this phone back on the market. It was missing plates, screws, had damage signs everywhere. Microphone disconnected and hanging by a thread. Contacted Glyde and they have done nothing. Total waste of $250. Buyer beware. Do not buy from Glade. "
"Where is my check? My iPhone 6 was sold on December 1! It’s now December 28. Where’s my check? WFT? Website says 3 to 5 business days, Not my experience!"
"Sold iPhone 6 Plus, ship to buyer, rec’d by buyer funds never rec’d never answered emails cannot call phone turned off 100 Of complaints filed with BBB! Don’t deal with them!"
"Phone arrived. It was frozen after the initial update. Glyde wants me to pay half the shipping cost. Do Not Order from Glyde unless you expect to be charged for their mistakes."
"Horrible. I think you sold a phone you dont have!! Thats why account on hold!!!!"
"Several devices being updated for the holiday season, so I decided to sell the old. Glyde offered the best deal on the devices, I had, and the easier selling process. They handled the auction and when my item sold I just shipped it to the new owner. Very easy process and I got much more than my carrier offered, kiosk in the grocery store or any other site. I will use them again, if only for the convenience and speed of sale."
" After two different sellers misrepresented the same product and failed to deliver and Glyde simply send a form letter, I've decided to say **** them."
"Right out of the box the phone cord was showing exposed wires and didn’t work. At first glance the phone looked good but once I started using it, it was clear the battery was shot. Would show 100% charge after 5 minutes and then the phone would die with 60% battery left. Charged overnight to make sure it was a full charge, the phone lasted 2 hours til dead again. Would you call that excellent condition? Returning the phone. We will see how smoothly that goes. Buying a replacement from somewhere else. Won’t try again from Glyde. "
"Had a great experience selling my old phone on Glyde. They give clear instructions and make it fast and responsive to sell your old device. I didn't want the hassle of trying to get the best possible deal, I just wanted a fair deal. I'm happy, and I didn't waste my time on craigslist or ebay. "
