"Tried to submit an order for Frames online and upon submission the checkout indicated that I would be receiving 2 pairs of frames when I only ordered one. I proceeded to call go optic customer service minutes after online checkout. I was informed that my order did display 2 pairs of frames and only 1 charge of approximately $142 plus tax and the customer service rep informed me that the pair I intended to order was not in stock and I requested to cancel the pending order since it was for another color that I never ordered in the first place and she agreed to cancel and could not provide an explanation of how another order was populated by mistake on the site. The next day I received a call from person at go-optic and he indicated that I was going to charged a 1 percent cancellation fee even though I was being charged for a pair of glasses I never ordered and the pair I wanted was NOT IN STOCK! Regardless, I can't understand charging a 1 percent cancellation fee when the order was canceled within minutes of submission and I have an email to confirm cancellation. Furthermore, I am being charged for an order that never occurred! Again, I ordered 1 pair of glasses that displayed in stock and only 1 pair and after I paid the site I was charged for 1 pair and the order displayed 2, I called to inquire, was told the pair I ordered was not in stock and the 2nd pair was canceled and I was charged a fee anyways.I asked to speak to a manager and manager took my call and claimed that I MADE THE MISTAKE AND IT WAS MY FAULT and no refund was available in full. Also, I am still waiting for the refund of the glasses as well for $142 plus tax."
"No-Go. I was given frames from Go-optic for Xmas gift to use as credit for desired frames. Sent back frames with order for new frames with prescription and got back wrong frames. Returned them and again got back wrong frames. tried third time and finally got right frames. It cost me over $30 in return cost was reimbursed $5.99. I cannot recommend these guys."
"Buyer beware. I agreed to pay $9.10 in shipping for a $286 order for three items. Received an e-mail message two days later to let me know that only one of the items was available. Company demanded $7.95 shipping for $71 item (more than 10%). I requested a refund -- they told me I would have to pay a 10% restocking fee. Shady stories from customer service reps -- supervisor just stepped away, then all supervisors called in sick that day (the same day). Very unprofessional and unfriendly to customers. "

"I ordered a pair of RayBan prescription glasses that were largely sold out everywhere else and were selling for a premium. I ended up paying about $30 less than the similar competitors and they shipped quickly and arrived in perfection condition, including the original RayBan case, eye cloth, and their own Go-Optic cloth. They even included the demo lenses in case i want to resell them! I spoke with their customer service on the phone prior to placing the order and they were nothing but helpful and courteous. I will without hesitation shop them again. "
"TERRIBLE. I ordered several pairs of sunglasses, knowing that I would return a few pairs after trying on. Carefully checked the return policy. They have a ridiculously high 15% restocking fee which is not very clearly stated in their terms, so I missed it and now am learning a very expensive mistake never to buy from this merchant again. My complaint email was replied to by a robotic response that simply repeated their terms and didn't address my frustration in the least. Amazing - a reduction in the fee could have converted me into a loyal customer. These people should take a look at Zappos. You can grow a successful company by making customers happy instead of taking advantage of them."
"This must be the worst company that I have dealt with. We ordered two pairs of glasses (~$200 each) and it took about 2 months for them to ship the first one. The second one is still "processes" and it has been 3 months already. I called to ask them countless times and they tired to explain the difficulties of getting the glasses from the manufacturer.
If you think you can wait this long for your product to arrive, go ahead and use this website. For me, I think this is unacceptable."
"Terrible. I placed an order for an in-stock item, and luckily I had a question about shipping, because I then found out the item was out of stock and would take a month to get to me. I cancelled my order less than an hour later and was charged 10%. Do not buy from them, that 10% is pure profit and probably how they scam people. "
"I made the mistake of placing an order with Go Optic before seeing any of the reviews. I was just buying glasses frames, no Rx, and I figured it wouldn't be a problem. Then, I saw ALL of the negative reviews! Unbelievable! I've never seen such a consistent amount of negative reviews in my life. So I immediately called up to cancel my order I had place 10 minutes earlier. The woman said there would "probably be a cancellation fee." I said "Probably? What do you mean?" She went on to say its "usually 10-15 percent," but could not tell me how much! She looked into it, and came to no conclusion! She didn't know! Unbelievable. All she could do was leave the info for her supervisor, to cancel the order. She could not even cancel it herself. I asked for a confirmation # to prove that she actually canceled it. She could not provide one!
Frustrated, I said OK and goodbye. I then, immediately went online and emailed the info to cancel in writing. I also called my credit card to make sure they wouldn't allow it. Its only been a few hours, so obviously I haven't gotten a confirmation by email that its canceled, but the transaction still says "pending" on the website.
DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY! I can't imagine how bad it must be with any other customer service issue like Rx mistakes, etc. They are incompetent and don't have a system in place to deal with problems...and clearly problems will arise. "
"Do not buy from them! All the negative reviews are true! I placed an order three weeks ago and I still have not gotten my glasses yet. I called numerous times and they keep telling me that the order is still being process and that management will give me a call. Three weeks later and still no call and no glasses. Not to mention I payed extra for two day delivery. Don't be fooled by the low prices. Now I'm concern that I gave my credit card info to them. I'm not sure if this company is who they say they are."
"Wow!!! Absolutely horrible. The final order page wasn't working so I called to place my order. I was concerned about getting prescription sunglasses within three weeks(vacation). Their rep assured me that this wouldn't be a problem. So ten days and two hundred eleven dollars later, no order confirmation. I called only to be told that these glasses had to be special ordered and probably wouldn't be ready and I might have to change my shipping method to get them in time. They would let me know on Monday. No communication Monday. Tuesday I get an email saying my order was cancelled due to these glasses being discontinued. Unbelievable. I'm giving them 24 hours to credit me or i'm disputing the charge with my cc company. Avoid this Company like the plague."

I had a good experience with them as my frame was right on the measure and prescription was accurate. I don't know where all the negative experience comes from but maybe not all goes through perfectly."
