Ordered a frame from go optics.com . They charged my credit card.
It has been 2 months and still no frame. They say they are out of stock from manufacture. Called manufacture, frame is available for them to purchase. These guys are clueless. I wished I had taken the time to read the reviews. Do Not let their good prices fool you."
"I love Go-Optic.com. I get top quality, designer frames for about 67% of the retail price, and I get the REAL thing, not the counterfeits sold on other sites. The selection is unmatched. I do not use their prescription service because I have panomic lenses and I need onsite measurements for the transitions in the lenses; I have no trouble having lenses made by my optometrist's lab. I love being able to wear designer lenses for a more affordable price.
I have been buying from Go Optic for years - this is my 16th order. I have never received frames the authenticity of which was questionable. I have ordered a couple of frames that I really didn't like once I actually tried them on, and I had no trouble exchanging them for other styles. I will keep buying all my frames here."

1) Exactly specify my scratch-resistant, water-resistant, oil-resistant, smudge-resistant version of Essilor's super tough polycarbonate Crizal Physio "Transitions" progressive lenses
...and also...
2) Save time when choosing my "ideal" glasses by sorting their staggering range of frames, not only by style and shape, but also by eye size, bridge width and temple length.
I've now spent just over three days in my latest spectacles from Go-Optic.com (being the third set they've shipped to me in Sydney, Australia over the last four years) ...and they ARE indeed spectacularly good !
It seems to me that Go-Optic don't really "sell themselves" as well as they might, in that much of the online criticism I've seen of their operation makes me think that many of their responses fail to adequately explain the best ways to exploit the uniquely vast range of alternative options that they alone offer.
Nor is it ever made clear that they can often be at the mercy of their suppliers as well as their delivery contractors.
Those are the factors that denied them my fifth star, because (as readers of reviews that I've posted with the likes of Amazon will already know) I honestly believe that five stars should only be awarded to products or services that can be recommended without any reservations at all.
Sadly, I think it's also evident that much of the harassment posted in review forums stems from ignorance and lack of research on the part of some of their clients.
In some ways it seems to me that it may be precisely what I value so highly, their truly vast variety of top-quality lens and frame choices (with which I started this review) that's at the heart of much of that negativity...
...negativity that I feel may often have largely been caused by those clients' lack of comprehension.

I do NOT for one moment believe that Go-Optic.com are always the cheapest or quickest out there...

...my experience of their operation over the last four years leads me to think that (when compared to countless others that I've endured over decades)...

"Should be called Slow-Optic. I ordered a pair of prescription glasses which were in stock according to my sales rep. After repeated calls asking about the glasses, all I received was excuse after excuse, constantly changing the delivery date. Do yourself a favor, stay away from this retailer! There are other sites who are much better than Slow-Optics. "
"I made my purchase several weeks ago and never received a confirmation email for my purchase; however, my credit card was immediately billed. I emailed them but never heard back. I was finally able to reach them today and they said that my purchase is scheduled to be be shipped on Christmas day but that they would not be there that day (understandably) and that the glasses will probably ship after the new year. So much for the Christmas gift even though I ordered well in advance. HOPEFULLY, the glasses will arrive and they will be exactly as ordered or I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. I really wish I would have checked out the reviews beforehand. Their website gives the appearance that they are a legitimate company but I am not so sure any more. Their website also shows the length of time it takes for delivery. Apparently that is not true. Very disappointed."

Does not realize there is a difference between the person who shipped the glasses and the post office, gave bad review about go-optic.com instead he or she should rate the postal services, they are the ones who messed up the delivery.

"RUN! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I submitted my order Aug 25th. They mailed it Aug 30th. The tracking failed to update after that. I called the post office and worked with them. I am in NE, my package was sent to AR. I finally received my frame Sept 12th, only because I live in a small town and the PO called me. The ear tips are cracked. I called the company to see what could be done about the delay (refund shipping charge perhaps?) and the cracked ear piece. The customer service witch was rude and kept raising her voice at me to say the shipping delay wasn't their fault. I finally had to hang up on her before I could even address the broken piece. This is the worst customer service I have encountered since doing business with Wells Fargo."

I called them to see if they had Wiley X eyewear that was legit, i need them for safety. they said yes, so just to make sure, i called wiley X, and they have never heard of Go Optics or Eye Trends, and are not sure how they optain their glasses. A month has passed. The track is not updated. I wrote to the USPS, and they immediately (it is important!) confirmed that the parcel did not received.
06.02.13 - I wrote letters to all of the available e-mails with the request to investigate.
07.02.13 - first useless answer:
"I will forward this email to the proper department, they will be able to assist you further with your inquiry."
02/08/13 - one more useless answer:
"I have forwarded a request to our Shipping Department to contact the USPS for an update on your missing package. Once they update us we will inform you of the status of delivery. Thank you for your patience."
14/02/13 - once again write a letter reminding. I attached the USPS's answer that they have not received the parcel.
14/02/13 - and more:
"We apologize for the delay in the response. It appears the USPS is currently researching this matter is we're still waiting for them to get back to us. We will contact them today to see if we have anymore information we can give to you about this shipment."
21/02/13 - and more:
"Our Order's Department filed a claim with USPS. Once we hear back from them, we will advise you. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, your patience is appreciated."
Passing through another month. I remind you that USPS answered me within a few hours.
16/03/13 - once again write a reminding letter. No answer.
Total spent $ 208.95, 72 days, a gift (glasses) is not obtained.
I'm paid by card (the other options were not), so no leverage with them not :(

"I used Go-Optic.com for the first time for my most recent purchase and have been pleasantly surprised. I was looking for a specific pair of frames for a long time, and they had the right frames for almost $50 less than anywhere else online. The shipping was fast, the glasses were perfect, and the lenses were crisp and clear.
