"Fabulous ..,small group.. Julian ..,exceptional guide"
"The Grand Tour of Italy was a fabulous experience. It was well organized and provided a rich array of sights and experiences. Accommodations were most comfortable and contributed to experiencing locales. Side trips were enjoyable and educational. Our Tour Director, Enrico Schattenmann, was excellent. He was personable and informative. This tour sold me on Go Ahead Tours for future overseas travel."
"A whirlwind tour of Germany with a special emphasis on WW2. Lots of territory was covered. The towns began to all blend together. Although the group itself was very disciplined (arriving in advance of the designated time consistently) 35 people is too large of a group for my taste.
Would rate the food & restaurants as generally good. Berlin was far too large to cover. Would have appreciated staying in a more central place given the brief time & the expansiveness of the city."
"Awesome trip!! Only negative was the horrible hotel in Mykonos."
"We waited a long time to be able to take this trip and working with Go Ahead Tours was so pleasurable. They explained everything completely. We received email updates regularly .We received our baggage tags, tipping envelopes and all information just before our trip. They were super with so many little extras. Our tour guide “Carla” was the best! On a 1 out of 10 rating, 10 being the best. Carla was a 12! She was thorough, kind, funny, helpful and so knowledgeable! We’re saving to go back to Italy. We would like to see the southern coast (amalfi coast, Positano and Sicily. My favorites on our Grand Tour trip was everything! Loved the country side of Lecco and lake Como, loved Venice! Loved Florence and the beauty of Tuscany (wine country) and Rome was amazing, so much history there! The pasta and wine are the best you can get! We ate in most of the little cafe’s and Trattorias. We took a cooking class in someone’s home, it was great! Ate the best pasta in the oldest wine bar in the country! If I had to change anything it would be to allow more time to eat and shop. With our tours we got only a hour to and hour and a half to eat, shop and use the rest rooms! And in some of the Squares there we toured right through without going back. There was great open markets set up like flea markets but we never had a chance to walk though. Some nights with traffic we would get back from our tour and would have 20 minutes to get ready and be in the lobby for a group dinner somewhere. Overall our trip was just fabulous! Ann"
"It is amazing how you think you know what to expect from all your reading about a places like Australia and New Zealand and find out its more that what you expect- it is certainly a geography lesson of place and people. Our guide Luke made it come to life for us in his commentaries on the best and stress reduction by provided clear up to date information of what we are going to do, where to meet - getting us on planes etc.
Finally Kelsey at Go Ahead was great answering my many emails about small things timely this again reduced the stress for us in traveling so far away.
Glad we went it will be memories for a life time.

"Spain is such a wonderful country and our tour guide, Fabrizio, was excellent. He made history and the culture come alive for everyone in my group. Although I had been to mist of the cities we toured & lived in Spain in the past, I still learned new things. I have nothing but great things to say about the tour and our tour guide. I can't wait to return to Spain."
" This trip to Ireland was ideal! We had an excellent guide as well as an experienced genealogist. We had individual research help as well as help at the repositories."
"This was our 4th Go Ahead Tour. We wouldn't travel with any other company. All of our tours have been exceptional. The smallest details to meeting the needs of a group of 35 are taken care of. The guides and drivers are always there for you. From choosing a tour to returning home I have felt valued. "
"The Athens hotel was not located near the sites we toured. our experience at the Mykonos hotel Bellvue was not good. We were without hot water two days and lost electricity one day. The staff showed little concern over these issues and did little to correct them."
"Wqsw a great tour until we arrived in York. The guide had other things on his mind and was not well prepared. We were rushed through the town. Also had little time for shopping.
However, the guide in London made up for this shortfall. She was super."
"Wonderful experience, small wonderful group, great tour director(knowledgeable, nice, very helpful with making plans. This tour offered many valuable sites and kept us busy every day. We were also given the chance for extra excursions which were magnificent and the opportunity to make excursions of our own. We book a Mozart concert, The Spanish Riding School, and the Danube River Cruise. We chose to stay 2 extra days whic EF graciously helped with extra hotel booking which took us to Budapest, and Prague. This was our second tour with EF Go Ahead and certainly look forward to the next one.

"The fall foliage tour was wonderful. We were so lucky to see the beautiful colors. Our tour guide was outstanding!"
"We were placed in the back of the plane on all flights, next to restrooms, which got fragrant. The lobster dinner was overcooked and sold at the restaurant for $29.00 while we paid $80.00. The tour of Boston could not be completed due to a hockey game. "
"Go Ahead Tours made this 1st time traveler's vacation dream come true! Our tour director, Brian, and driver, Stephen, ( both native Dubliners) did a superb job providing educational and cultural insight, and Brian even serenaded the bus a time or two. The excursions were fabulous...be sure to take them all!! The hotels and meals provided were all terrific experiences except for Treacy's in Waterford (where the food was subpar and the hotel accommodations tired and outdated). My tour was Oct 1-14. We traveled through a tropical storm in flight to Ireland (bumpy ride). That storm (and two other weather fronts) caused it to rain most every day, but rain showers were brief and did not cause any event cancellations nor dampen my enthusiasm. Suggestion... take waterproof walking shoes, a weatherproof coat with a hood (umbrellas do not stand up well to the wind), gloves, and a warm scarf. Highlights (besides all the fabulous excursions) =Trinity College student tour, Cobh Heritage Centre, Blarney Castle and grounds (beautiful and entertaining -not a tourist gimmick as I suspected...biggest selection and best prices for gorgeous souvenir shopping)! Sheep herding and delicious lamb stew at Glen Keen Farm, and St. George's open-air market in Belfast...delicious (and cheap) food. I loved this trip, and highly recommend it!!!"
