"I had purchased a voucher for two private baseball lessons, but the company refused to return my calls. Since I was having trouble making my appointments to use the lessons, I contacted Living Social. I was contacted almost immediately by Alejandra J. She suggested a way to resolve the issue and trade in my voucher. Over the course of a week or two, I was contacted by Living Social once or twice to see if my issue had been resolved. I appreciated that she kept in touch. A lot of times the customer has to chase after the company when there's a problem. Because I am in the area for a limited time I decided to ask for a refund. I expected getting a refund to be a hassle, but she was very quick to respond to my email, and I received my refund within two days. I am very happy with the service I received. "

Placed an order. Received Email Confirmation. Only to go to My Groupons as the email states to do. Only to find my order stuck in Processing. Waited 3 and half hours even though it states on their FAQ "After two hours, if your order’s status still says “Processing” or “Pending,” we'd love to help. Select the link below to get in contact with our customer support team." So I did just that and contacted Support after it having already been 3 and half hours. I explained this to Support. Wasn't helped at all. Was just told to wait. Was told I'd receive a confirmation email when the order was finished Processing. I explained to them I had already received a Confirmation Email. I was told that what I would receive another one when it was ready. Was asked to provide a screen shot and email it to them. Which I did. I was told I'd hear back from them by email within 30 minutes. 30 Minutes came and went with no email. So I contacted Support a 2nd time. Was told the same thing to wait. At this point I'm already upset as I was upset the 1st time as well. And both times I mentioned the FAQ saying to contact Support if it's been 2 hours. And both times I was just told to wait. I eventually fell asleep after having waited over 8 hours. Only to wake up in the morning and have it finally finished Processing. Problem is because it took so long I missed out on a 15% ($25.52) promotional code on NewEgg for the Corsair Crystal Series 570x Case that I was looking to buy with this Gift Card. Then to make matters worse I just got an email, 2 days later, from Support stating "We’re so glad we could resolve your issue today! We’d love to hear your feedback on Groupon services and products. You can write us a review by visiting ResellerRatings or Viewpoints. Thanks again for shopping Groupon! All the best, Your friends at Groupon" when Groupon Support didn't do anything to help."
"I find Groupon customer service improving all the time. Initially it was difficult to contact someone and took a while to resolve an issue but issues were ALWAYS resolved eventually. Lately I find Customer Service much more prompt and responsive.
On the site itself it seems unclear how to trade in a Groupon. I usually have to ask CS for help and I am not that technically challenged - usually. BUT they come through and process it for me. Would be helpful if someone would explain the process so i can do it myself in the future or make the process more clear online.
I love Groupon and have tried many interesting adventures that I would otherwise not know about or might not be inclined to try due to the normal pricing. Also super for restaurants and again, gives me the opportunity to try out new things which I love doing!

"After selecting a Groupon for a gift for my mother she tried for 3 days of calling to setup an appointment. When the call was finally answered (no voice mail was told they would not honor the groupon as the they now only have one person to run the business.
I reported this in chat, (about an hour on chat) after a day get a email saying they would check into the issue.
A week later, get email saying if they didn't hear back in 4 days they would close the ticket if no reply.
A day later I contacted Groupon via chat again, start all over. Checked and as of this posting this moment Oso Unique Face and Body still have a listing when Groupon has been notified this is a fraud as the merchant won't honor the offer.
Being offered a gift certificate after spending hours dealing with the vendor and support to start over again and hope you actually get a deal honored wasn't worth it. SO if you feel lucky, have nothing better to do with your time, don't mind waiting 10 days for a refund if your lucky then go for it.
I'm not willing to do it again. After years of dealing with this company and getting the worst customer service possible won't be making do it again. "
"Groupon no longer bothers with the personal touch that made their customer service so terrific when I first became a customer. Now it seems to be all about churning out ‘template’ responses promptly, that make no effort to address or correct the actual situation. Handing out meaningless apologies and Groupon bucks does make for great customer service. This last experience reminded me why Groupon is no longer my first choice to go to, to shop."

"I placed an order and was doubled ordered. I immediately contacted Groupon and they indicated that it was a double order and that they would take care of it. I also indicated that I did not get the Groupon discount and they did not take care of that either. A few days later Groupon sent me another email saying I had to contact the company directly to take care of it myself to get the refund. Now I have a charge for over 200.00 which should of been $100.00
