Great Service!

"I was assisted by a representative named Pinky F. She was excellent. We first chatted via the groupon online chat. The wait time for the representative on the chat was appropriate (compared to other companies I've experienced). She was able to identify my problem right away and advised me to wait for a day. After a day, my transaction still did not get processed, and I contacted her again via email. She was able to resolve my issue right away!! I am extremely satisfied with her service! Great job Groupon! "

Worst Customer Service EVER!

"Taking over 10 days to get my merchandise (cologne spray). I tried calling via "contact us" but I find out GROUPON does not have one, nor do any LIVE people call you back when you request a "call back". So I live chat and it takes over 15 min for a response, I look away for 2 min and when I look back "Angelica.A" responds by telling me to keep waiting, then responds 'hello?, hello?, since your not answering I'm ending". THEN I request again, asking for help and the next person ALSO says to keep waiting ONE MORE DAY, then contact the actual company sending it out (which is GROUPON MERCHANTS) but I'm told that they ALSO don't handle actual human phone calls. I have to email them. I am so frustrated. I HATE GROUPON, never ever again will I waste time or $ with this horrible compan."

Where's my voucher?

"I purchased a Groupon deal. No problem taking my money. I received an email inviting me to "click here to view your voucher". I clicked. No voucher. I contacted customer service. They can't find it either. We exchanged a couple of emails. I sent them screen shots of my transaction. Still no voucher. Then I got an email from Groupon: "We’re so glad we could resolve your issue today!" What!!? My issue is not resolved. I still don't have my voucher.
UPDATE: I finally found the voucher on my own. The customer service people were no help at all.

Customer Support Very Understanding

"I had a quick response from customer service and they reinstated my Groupon bucks to use towards another Groupon. Rep was very understanding and explained how to do the trade in easily. Groupon always loves to make their customers happy!!"

Little or no customer support

"Cannot reach customer reps by phone and online chat reps are not knowledgeable; cannot understand and resolve issues. Having numberous issues trying to book one order. Was transferred to different reps with long waits between. Lots of time wasted attempting to resolve by online chat. This feature does not work for all suppliers...definitely not for Groupon. "

DO NOT TRUST THEM !!!! HORRIBLE !!!!

"DO NOT TRUST THEM ! I bought a Groupon for $142.00 for tickets for the Intrepid Air and space Museum in New York City. My grandsons were in from California and I wanted to take them. When we arrived at the intrepid, I tried to pull the Groupon link up on my phone. The only thing I got was a message saying “invalid link to voucher”. I was forced to buy tickets at the venue that day. Obviously I wanted a refund from Groupon so the following day I tried to do just that . First of all, they were virtually impossible to get in touch with. There is absolutely no phone number to reach them. The only way to speak to them is via email or “chat on computer”which is a chore in itself to get someone . They were completely RUDE , OBNOXIOUS AND UNHELPFUL and refused to give me a refund saying that the purchase was “non-refundable “. The “customer service” is HORRIFIC !!! They just brushed me off and THAT WAS IT !! INSTEAD OF GROUOIN , Use “LIVING SOCIAL” website for deals !! DO NOT TRUST Groupon!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM !!!!!!!! "

Group is great, but failed in this instance.

"The deal I was trying to buy did not go through. I tried again and it said I'd already purchased and couldn't do it again. The email response said to try from another browser. It still wouldn't work. I updated my CC info, tried as a gift purchase with no promo code and it seemed to work, then didn't. I emailed again for help. The response said to read the fine print, I can only purchase one of the deals. But now I can't purchase any.y family was really looking forward to this event, now I have to pray I can buy all the tickets at the door for an additional $3 each. I did not find the email support helpful at all. Nothing was fixed. Though semi-timely, the answers were vague and unhelpful.
Note I have used group in the past with no problem.
