"Groupon is great, until you need help with something. Their customer service team is by far the worst I've ever encountered. When a "trade-in" wouldn't work on my account, they told me I was doing everything wrong. When I emailed them screenshots that showed exactly how I followed the instructions they sent me, they said, oh, "this has never happened before. We'll have to investigate that and let you know." ...days from now. I told the third customer service rep I'd spoken to how I was frustrated at being told this whole time that I was doing things incorrectly, and then still not receiving help once I proved to them I WAS doing it correctly. The response? "Is there anything else I can help you with today?" I think that says it all."
"Had purchased a somewhat pricey Groupon ($199). When I went for a consultation, I was told I was not a good candidate for the procedure. Contacted Groupon and they offered me an exchange. Since it was expensive I asked for a refund instead. No Problem! Received an email confirmation of refund as well as a copy of the Live Chat dialogue for my records. I Order from Groupon all the time, and will continue to do so following this EASY Cust service experience!"

"I recently purchased a pack of bras that were on sale, but accidently purchased 2 packs instead of one which was a lot of bras and way more money than I meant to spend! These were final sale, but they recognized my mistake and kindlu refunded on of the packs for me!

"In mid June 2017 I purchased a pair of shoes (Harrison Men's Desert Derby shoes) from Groupon for about $40. After wearing them only a few times, the shoe laces started to fray and break and the eyelets started to break out. I can easily replace the laces, but the eyelets breaking made the shoes not wearable.
When I contacted Groupon for a replacement due to defect (broken eyelets after three uses must certainly be a defect), I was told they are past the 14 day return period and cannot be returned. No one bothered to listen and realize this was a warranty claim and not just a common return. No one bothered to even contact the manufacturer to see if they would stand behind their quality. After more than 10 emails and involvement of Groupons customer service supervisor, they still stand behind their internal policies rather than stand behind their customers. Groupon does not have control over its manufacturers and will not stand behind their products. Do not buy from them, they are just a little above current day snake oil sales people."

When I contacted Groupon they cancelled my order, and refunded the money. The person I spoke to was very understanding, and made the refund out a hassle. "I accidentally let one of my groupons expire bc I had the cut off date wrong. Groupon sent me an email saying I could trade in my expired voucher for another deal and use within 24 hours. It was so easy and turned my "wasted" voucher into money that I could use towards something else instead of just toward the item I had purchased. Thankful they gave me the option to do this and made it so easy as well! :)"
"I don't normally write reviews, but, this was totally my fault. I had ordered the wrong ring for my granddaughter using a 50% off code. I cancelled the order and then tried to go back and order the "Correct" ring with the code and it would not let me. I got on Chat with groupon "Maria C." explained what my problem was a she fixed it within a minute. Christmas shopping is stressful enough and this experience made it so enjoyable it could have been just the opposite. Thank you Groupon!"
