"I absolutely do not recommend buying tickets for events from groupon because if there is a mistake on your tickets they are a pain to get help from. They pass the buck off on others that have no control since the others did not sell you the ticket & then when you let groupon know that they just seem to ignore you. Plus you can't reach them by phone & only talk by message & email which isn't always clear & easy to resolve issues. "

"I purchased 4 tickets to a concert advertised on Groupon. I kept waiting for my confirmation email and every time I checked, the status of my purchase said "Pending." When I checked yesterday, it said "Refunded." Contacted customer service, who told me it was refunded because the tickets were sold out and I should have a refund in 10 days. I received no communication whatsoever about this and the only way I knew my tickets weren't good is because I kept checking the app for the status. Not only did they sell me tickets they didn't have available, the tickets are STILL BEING ADVERTISED ON GROUPON. The rep told me yesterday that "this deal should be removed from our site soon." Why are they waiting to remove it if the tickets aren't available?? That is promising goods/services to people that they willingly know they won't provide! Thankfully, I was able to purchase directly from Ticketmaster since the tickets were for my dad's 70th birthday and I had already made dinner reservations and travel plans. I ended up spending more money on the tickets, but at least I can trust that Ticketmaster didn't sell me bogus tickets. Beware if you're purchasing tickets to any kind of concert!!"
"I bought a seven-day parking pass at Newark Airport Long-Term Parking that I only realized would not apply during my travel dates when I was able to print it out. Trading it in for credit toward another Groupon was easy, but the original Groupon's information on when it could be used should have been clearly included in the offer. "
"Booked a room at Edgewater Panama City beach charged $198 when arriving additional $168 charges the rooms are nothing like the photos no ocean views was I block away from the beach the rooms were like bates motel nasty Groupon advised us to leave the condo and they would refund our money but of course after leaving they kept all of our money costing us to have to get another place to stay never use Groupon even to purchase anything all phone numbers for Groupon are disconnected I guess due to all the complaints they get. "I'm done with Groupon and the lack of support they give you with 3rd party sellers. After weeks of trying to resolve my issue I decided I didn't want any more headaches so I kept the item. It was a touchless trash can from avenue a. Not the one I ordered but just too much of a hassle and avenue a ****, don't buy from them. Lousy customer service and no offer to compensate for their error. Send back item so they can exchange or refund would have taken another 3 weeks. 7 to 10 days for refund once they receive it and then another 7 to 10 days to get the exchange. Worst experience I've ever had purchasing from Groupon. And it's not the first time. They have a habit of sending wrong item because that item which I ordered was out of stock. If that's the case don't send anything and inform me about it so I can cancel order."

"Ordered package of Hurri-clean tank & bowl cleaner. The deal was for a box of three packets. My package arrived unharmed but the box inside was crushed and contained just two packets of the cleaner. The "solution" I was offered from customer service was to return the order for a refund or they would send me a coupon to use toward another purchase. Neither was satisfactory to me...I just want what I paid for...nothing more, nothing less!"
